Some big updates from my second visit. First, I asked for salt on the meat this time and the buffalo campagno burger was much tastier. They also packed it tighter so it stayed in one piece the whole time. This time I showed up and needed to wash my hands. Isn’t a burger hand food? No bathroom. They have hand wipes but they don’t say anything on them about being antibacterial. Gross! Sorry but after the gym the metro the tram and the cash I handed you, give me a bathroom with soap or an antibacterial wipe! I also noticed this time that they use all recycled items, even biologically degradable corn starch flatware. Very cool. On the sad side of things, my burger french fries and a Menebrea totaled € 17! Otherwise known as $ 23! I was confused because the burger was only € 7,50– reasonable for a delicious gourmet burger. The receipt read: «Burger € 7,50 Goat cheese €, 75 Avocado €, 75 Patatine € 3,50 Menabrea € 4,00» And then the real stick up my a$$: «Ketchup €, 50» I’m surprised they didn’t charge for the air or the florescent lighting! I guess my choice of toppings were extra(which is just wrong aside from bacon). But also I realized that € 7,50 is only reasonable for a burger when it includes fries!!! The fries are good but not other-worldly so you can throw them in at no coat and quit being pretentious. It was sad to see the burger on a big ‘burger and fries’ plate with no fries included, all by his lonesome. Plus, € 3,50 is too much for fries anyway. But Ketchup??? You’re going to charge me for a little miniature shot of Ketchup? Sorry, but I’ll never go back to anywhere which wants to charge me for ketchup besides a grocery store. Goodbye Trita :-(
