It is a family restaurant. Very loud and energetic. Staff is very friendly. but I heard pizza is good here, but i did not order. Because crust is thick, If i had pizza I will not be able to eat something else. I share every dishes with my friend, so i can taste varieties. Everything I ordered, are delicious: Salad the artichoke, parmesan and cured ham; Spaghetti with clam; and slice beef with mushrooms. I especially like the beef. I dont like to eat rare beef. It cooked quite nicely. Love it

Great food at very reasonable prices. This was my first experience with«thicker crust» pizza in Italy as most of the offerings in Rome are much different in texture and composition. My friend and I split a large«slice» of pizza in addition to getting pasta dishes. The pasta was excellent, the portions were very generous, and we had food left over after all was said and done. With a liter of house wine(typically as good as the 15 – 20 Euro bottles you’ll see at «fancier» restaurants), the bill came to around 35 euro.

Lively, local. and fast moving environment. Family style seating. Best Lasagna I’ve ever had, creamy ricotta and simple ingredients. Gnocchi was a great texture with rich pesto & basil. Didn’t try the pizza or seafood, but those also looked like some of their specialties. Super thick crust pizza, similar to Chicago style. Very unique variation from the typical thin Italian crust.

Went here when I was in Milano and absolutely loved it! We had lasagna and pizza and both were fantastic! I will definitely be back on my next trip to Milano!

My friends and I came to Woodstock after arriving in Milan. The food was amazing and the staff was so friendly and accommodating with our language barrier. The restaurant is so cozy. This is a great place to come for a great and easy meal! Thank you so much for a great experience and a perfect introduction to Milan.

No English is spoken in this locals spot and that is perfectly fine. Just enter the door to the main dining room, wait patiently to be seated, inside or on the porch, and order as best you can. Be ready when the waitress comes because this spot can be quite busy and they have a lot of ground to cover. Semi-pro tip: Whatever the question asked, the correct answer is «Si!»(this worked for me!) The salami and cheese appetizer was wonderful, with at least four kinds of sliced, flavorful preserved meat and wonderful cheeses including handmade, fresh mozzarella. In fact, when you add on the huge, free basket of focaccia and other types of bread, the appetizer alone is enough for four people. As for pizza, the dish here is not the thin and crispy style available elsewhere in Milan. Instead, it is a huge pillowy slice with whatever toppings you select. The small slice is massive and cannot easily be consumed unless you are very hungry. Alternatively, you can take as much time as you need since, in common Italian fashion, there is no rush. Savor and enjoy. Finally, for the ultimate in taste and texture, try the gnocchi with four cheeses. It’s creamy, cheesy goodness with a slight pungent bite of Gorgonzola mixed in. This definitely blows away every Mac and Cheese on the entire planet. Bam. Done! Winner!!!

Good service. Our first server didn’t speak English however once he realized that we were Americans, an English speaker server came to help. We ordered a small slice a pizza which was yummy and the size maybe 3 american slices. They put a nice bread bowl on your table which I will post a photo soon. We also ordered gnochhi(4 cheeses) which was yummy and slathered with lots of sauce and a salad. This is not the best Italian food I’ve had but it sure fits the bill for a decent meal for a very good price.

I liked the outdoor seating because it was fully covered so no bugs and no cigarette smoke. The server was prompt and really sweet. My friend and I sat down and immediately looked through the menu. I saw someone eat french fries-it’s not often that a place in Milano will serve fries. At first I thought I wanted an order of patate fritte but then wanted pizza. There were two different sizes-normale and abbondante. The girls sitting behind us ordered the abbondante and when we saw their pizzas coming out our jaws dropped because it was HUGE! So we decided to order the normale size. I got a slice of margarita because you can NEVER go wrong with it. My friend ordered the salame piccante-she didn’t like the salame on it so picked it off. The pizza was like a deep dish pizza-it was fat, fluffy and crispy. For a slice of pizza and a coke I paid 7,50 euros which included a 1 euro sitting fee. Not bad.
