View the castle, have a coffee at the bar to see the inside of the restaurant and then drive back down the hill and find another place to eat.
We had numerous items and there was nothing we tried that I can recommend.
My spouse’s steak was salty, her sides were over cooked, my kids spaghetti was salty, and my tuna was a terrible cut of meat and salty. I’m not sure how you make a tuna steak taste like Spam but I’m pretty sure it involves salt. Also two of the five pieces of tuna were inedible due to the cut of the meat.
The table charge is € 3 a head.

The castle is the town of Marostica, lovely and full of charm. It’s great for groups since it’s a free tour. The restaurant is wonderful and you can even have your wedding here. There is no hotel and parking is slim. No big trucks will take you to the top, road going up is super narrow. A Fiat it’s too big, lol. Restaurant is sooooooo cheap, you must eat breakfast. It opens at 10am.
