This place isn’t very large so if you come for dinner, get there early or better yet, make a reservation… even on weekdays because lots of local families come. During our dinner, we saw several parties get turned away because all the tables were full.
All four of us got the grilled meat dinner special (about € 15 each). Even after a full day of walking and sightseeing, this was way more food than any of us could handle. All the meats (chicken, pork, ribs and sausage) were perfectly cooked and well-​seasoned; salad was fresh; portions were generous; wine was great; service was friendly; and atmosphere was cozy and homey.

We went in here for a quick bite and went for gnocchi and risotto. Both were very generous servings and super tasty; typical homemade trattoria food that definitely fills you up. The side dishes were good as well. If service and presentation were better, this would surely have been a 4.
