Stopped here after we bought two bottles of wine to enjoy while walking from another store. The bottle we purchased from store A was HORRIBLE so we quickly went across the street and asked the woman behind the counter what she recommended for less than € 15, which ended up being a quite delicious € 10 bottle and a lot of helpful information. She nicely dumped that first bottle for us and then answered all of our burning questions about Grappa and limoncello. She was so sweet and helpful to us. Her service gives her cantina 5 stars!

Great customer service. Purchase from here even though store down the street was cheaper. One less star due to pricing.

We spent the last few hours of our last night in Monterosso sampling the local offerings — grappa, Sciachettra, wines and liqueurs. The bar tender was friendly, knowledgable and genuinely enjoyed telling us about each thing we sampled. They also provide crackers and spreads. I wish we would have found this place sooner!

Lorenzo is such a lovely man. He knows his products like the back of his hand and talks about how they are made in detail. A former artist, he decided to open his shop with liquors from Sangallo. It is clear that he is excited about his products and finds true joy in what he does. Not only did he allow us to taste whatever we liked, he encouraged it. He knows what so many other businesses seem not to or a fact that they ignore– when you engage your customers and let them sample your product, you do better. We had NO intention of buying anything when we went into this shop, but within minutes, I had already decided to get a few things because we were able to sample them. Then, Lorenzo started talking to us. That’s when the frenzy started. We ended up with a backpack FULL of items and left our new friend with € 84. What did we get? We bought a delicious Extra Virgin Olive Oil(€ 10), crazy good raspberry liquor called Viagra(€ 8), limoncino(€ 15-made with the lemon, sugar, peel at same time), locally produced, sweet wine, Sciacchtra(€ 30), cioccolatto liquor(€ 8) and 2 chocolates filled with limoncino. Our liquor cabinet is looking good after this visit! If you’re in Cinque Terre, definitely, absolutely go out of your way to get to this shop. Know that you will not leave empty handed.

The owner is so friendly and funny! You have to visit him. We wandered in here after walking the streets of Monterosso for a while; just to take a glance at what was being sold/offered here. The owner immediately struck up conversation and started us on a tasting spree of his delicious limoncello varieties! Between ‘shots’ of his homemade limoncello, we sampled some of his fresh jams & preserves as well. So tasty! He was SOO friendly and gave us so many great recommendations, we definitely did not walk out empty-handed! So whilst in town, you must make sure you stop by this adorable little shop that’s filled with so many Italian treats! I promise, you won’t regret it! :)
