Probably this is as authentic as it gets in Naples’ old town.
Fernanda makes deep fried pizza (pizza fritta). Her mother Filomena was doing the same job in the same spot, and probably her grandmother and great grandmother too.
Fernanda’s kitchen is open on the narrow street and you can watch her preparing pizza before your eyes.
Fernanda is very talkative and friendly and she will be happy to exchange a word or two with you while you wait for your pizza to be ready.
