Terrific Gelato!
We walked in just as they were closing but mercifully they had gelato desserts covered in chocolate in their case so we could stroll through town with our dolci. I snagged myself a nutella dessert while my husband had the coffee flavored gelato. Mine was absolutely wonderful! My husband loved his too.
I guess they serve crepes which I plan to try another night. :)

Make it stop. Please… somebody…just make it stop. I keep having dreams of their delicious gelato… yeah, nightmares now, for I am unable to satiate this craving, this gnawing, this scratching at my soul, caused by eating this most delicious of all gelatos in the known universe. Fair reader, if you value your sanity, under no circumstances should you get their dark chocolate rum flavored gelato, for after one bite, you are addicted. And it will forever haunt you.

The first gelato I ever had was at Paqualetti, and it ruined me – I have never had anything better! Truly the best in Italy (believe me, I searched everywhere trying to top it). Do yourself a favor and try as many flavors as you can – you can order up to 3 at a time. Straciatella is a standout, and you cannot go wrong with any of their fruit flavors… or pistachio… really, just try as many as you can. Then go into the Piazza and admire the amazing Duomo with your little taste of heaven.

This is, hands down, the BEST gelato I have ever had. Perhaps, it is in part due to the fact that you must go to Florence to get it or that just steps outside the shop is the beautiful Piazza del Duomo. Either way, this gelato possesses magic.
It was SOOOOO good in fact, that we went there twice in one day, once right after lunch and once after a few hours of walking. This is NOT a place to miss!!!
