I love this restaurant, I had one of the best meals in Italy here(which is saying a lot). Simple, perfectly cooked food and a wonderfully warm overall experience. TRYTHERABBIT. It’s fabulous. The steak with artichokes was great, as well as the fabulous minestrone soup. The wine delicious. But most of all, Soleman(our server and host) was beyond wonderful. A kind, generous man who recommended all the wonderful dishes we tried and even gave us the recipe for the amazing«green sauce» for the rabbit. Just a very special place.

This restaurant was completely awful! The dishes were tastles and small, a complete tourist rubbish place. No value for money. Tastless pastas and awful desserts. Never again.

Went on the basis of other reviews. Wow. One of the best meals I’ve had. Flavor, texture, all fantastic. I had ravioli with truffles; to die for. Layers of flavor and Chef Ali should be proud. My husband had gnocchi con funghi; again terrific. I can’t recommend more highly than this: go!

This restaurant if a little difficult to find but it is well worth the trouble. We went to dinner early for Italian standards(7 pm) and the waitstaff had not yet arrived. The chef however, welcomed us with open arms. Needless to say, we were the only ones in the restaurant at first. That didn’t stop us from having the best meal we had during our 2 ½ week trip in Italy! We got the pasta with truffles and it was absolutely delicious. The house wine is good and very reasonable and the desserts(tiramisu and almond cake) we had were amazing. During the course of our meal the waiter came and he was wonderful as well. Don’t miss out on this gem when you are in Italy!

Wandered into this restaurant totally by chance — it was late(other restaurants had already turned us away) on a Sunday and we were desperate. We ended up having one of the best meals of our 3-week Italy vacation. When we entered I was nervous — the large dining room was empty except for 1 tourist couple finishing up. The table settings were immaculate white linen, monogrammed plates and tall-stem glasses, the sole waiter was well presented — the place looked expensive. It was also eerily quiet(no music, no kitchen sounds, quiet). We used our very shaky Italian to get things going, but the waiter, graciously soon transitioned to English(not fluent, but better than my Italian). He was proud and professional but not snobby — white-glove all the way. The menu features Etruscan specialties. We ordered a variety of 3 different antipasti for 5 people, and 1 main course or pasta dish each — we were obviously not splurging, but still the service remained warm and professional. We discussed the local wines on the good-sized list. I chose one of 3 recommended(not the priciest) and the waiter beamed. The food was interesting and varied, carpaccio of veal, strange but tasty lentil with boarage(who knew the Etruscans were into boarage?), fried zucchini flowers, rabbit, wild boar stew, hand-made pastas with forest mushrooms. Even the two vegetarians in our group fared well. The generous portions had us stuffed by the end of the main course, but we would not be allowed to leave without sampling from the dessert cart(of which they were obviously proud). We shared 3 between 5 again — one of the best tiramisu I’ve had along with an exemplary espresso to finish. The bill was a very reasonable 25 Euro per person. At that point(remember it is late Sunday night — these people should be wanting to go home to their families), we were invited to tour the ancient Etruscan-built underground wine cellar. Apparently they do wine tastings there during peak summer season — it would be a cool thing to do(literally). A fun evening and a great meal.

We had purchased pottery at Ceramiche Giacomini & asked the owner for a recommendation for a family dinner & this was the place. I can’t thank them enough! We had the Best food, the Best service & the Best cave tour after dessert compliments of our waiter. There is a wine cave under the restaurant from the Etruscan times. Our waiter could not have been more gracious & the food was amazing! A meal we as a family will always treasure.

The mushroom gnocchi here was life changing. It actually melted in my mouth.
