The pizza was overcooked, not burned black, but a crispy dark brown. The service was prompt, but not attentive. The mixed green salad was a slice of tomato on a bed of romaine. My pizza was mozzarella, tomato sauce, and hot salami with olives. The sauce was great, the crust(aside from being over toasted and crispy) was bland. The Salami was excellent, but the olives were a huge disappointment. Tasted like they came from a can. Come on, this is Italy! Olive trees grow on the side of the road, and you top your pizza with these bland black things? My wife’s pizza had french fries and sausage on it. The fries were a surprise because we were expecting potatoes(as in not fresh slices of yellow potatoes, not french fried). They were actually really good, but again, it was way over cooked and dried out. We both doused our pizzas in olive oil to help with the dryness, but alas it could not save our meal. I did see a few other dishes come out of the kitchen(non pizza) that looked tasty, but I would be wary to waste another meal on my vacation at this place with so many options close at hand.
