Loved this place. A very friendly staff mind you at this idyllic location quite far up the hill in Positano. You can walk up there, but wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re wearing some good shoes. The homemade pasta it’s some of the best I’ve ever had. The house red wine is a great complement to the meal too. And while the pizza may not be quite Naples-quality, it’s still very authentic and tasty. I would be perfectly content to spend a week eating here every night!

Very open space with beautiful views of the coast, but the restaurant itself was not the cleanest. There were flies everywhere, especially around the uncovered fruits and desserts in the fridge. Aside from that, the food was average. The pasta dishes are way too salty and the home made pasta was not cooked well enough. Highly recommend the fish specials because the fish is fresh and they cut it in front of you.

This place is honestly mind blowing. Aida, the owner, is amazing and loves what she does and that is really reflects in her restaurant. While in Positano I was staying two houses down and decided to come here because I didn’t want to walk all the way down. I loved it so much the first time that I came two more times. I tried the grilled mozzarella, and the eggplant parmesan for appetizer and the eggplant was insanely good. For entrees I had manicotti? and the spaghetti al pomodoro. They were both perfectly made and the homemade pasta was to die for. I preferred the spaghetti just because I like this a little more plain so I would go for that. Now on to the dessert, my true love, my life. I ordered the tiramisu, but they were out the first night so Aida recommended the pear and ricotta cheesecake. I cannot begin to describe how delicious it was. It was descendant, creamy, smooth and the hazelnut crust gave it a nice bite. I had it three times in the four days I was in Positano and I cannot wait to return to Positano just to have this dessert. Da Costantino is the best restaurant in Positano, better than bruno, and la taglieta. Their house wine is also a must have, only € 9 for a L, I’m no wine connoisseur but it was yummy.

They offer a free shuttle that will come to your hotel and pick you up and then drop you off after dinner, which is great. The restaurant is pretty out of the way so without the shuttle, it would be hard to get to. Onto the food, we ordered the mozzarella pressed between lemon leaves, and a seafood pasta and a meat sausage pasta for our entrees. The mozzarella didn’t do anything for it. We couldn’t really taste any of the lemon in the cheese and because they kept the windows open, it was cold and the cheese quickly hardened. It was just like eating string cheese. I wasn’t impressed at all. The pastas were OK, I actually don’t remember much about it, except they were both on the salty side. I am not a big fan of salt and that’s one of the issues that I find in most restaurants in Italy. The food is simply too salty and you can’t taste any subtlety or even the ingredients. Too bad. The pasta itself was cooked well, but I just didn’t like the sauce. We also got a slice of the lemon cake for dessert and that was the best part of the meal. It wasn’t too sweet and was light and lemony. We also got free lemoncello. Overall, I wasn’t impressed with the place. If we came during lunch, maybe we could get a better view but not much to see at night because it’s so remote and not a lot of lights at night.

My favorite meal in Positano — we actually went twice! service was amazing, as was all of the food. Pizza is phenomenal — best in the city, which I totally did research ;-) Get the homemade pasta as well — you won’t regret it. They pick you up and take you back to your hotel which in Positano is great considering how much you walk around. This is a hugely appreciated service. Their limoncello is also the best in the city in my opinion and the prices here are extremely reasonable. It’s certainly a MUST.

To those that call this a tourist trap-Is it possible you were just having a bad day? As a «tourist» there’s nothing I liked more than being picked up from my hotel and taken to one of the best views in Positano(you’re right the view from their bathroom was also nice). Luigi — one of the owners and local grandpa — was extremely friendly. The pasta was fantastically delicious. We had a great meal and then the driver took us back to our hotel. If this is what is considered a «tourist trap» I’m happy to be trapped any time. We also met a local family and asked them where they’d go and without mentioning any names they recommended this restaurant. This restaurant was everything I could have hoped for while visiting Positano. I would definitely recommend coming here during your stay. It feels like a family restaurant that’s been there for years and one that you’d want to go back to on a return visit. If you like spicy the penne arrabbiata was delicioso!

This restaurant was recommended by our shuttle driver, Gregory, at . Service was a little hectic for lunch but friendliness, the food and the spectacular view made up for it. Very reasonably priced and would highly suggest.

Call for a restaurant cab if you are in Positano and they will come and pick you up for free. Great service and outstanding food. The frutti di Mari is absolutely outstanding! They have great desserts as well like the lemon cake and tiramisu. Lemoncello served is also great! THEVIEWIS100% worth the trip up here!!!

Awesome family restaurant in Positano. Food and service was excellent! It’s a little off the path and was a bit hard for us to find, but if you call them, they will come and pick you up! We didn’t know this, so we walked there, but their driver to us back to the place we were staying.

Probably the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten in with a 10 million dollar view. Got the chefs tasting menu. Freshest pasta you’ll ever have. This is the stuff you dream of if you’re a foodie. A must stop if you’re on the Amalfi coast

Fun family style place. The food is above average and the price point is on the low side for the town. Great views also. Killer pizza

We ate here while in Positano. The views are outrageous! Five stars on the view alone. The food is excellent as is the service. The prices are very affordable as well. This restaurant is up high in the village of Positano which is why the views are so good. One of the better restaurants in Positano probably. It was recommended to us by a Naples local so that referal holds some weight. Also go to Franco’s bar for a cocktail before. Its 5 stars also!

Beautiful views and the food is great! I definitely recommend that you try the house wine as it didn’t disappoint. The wait staff extremely friendly and heartwarming. If you are staying locally they arrange for you to be picked up and return to your hotel. I highly recommend that you make this a stop on your visit!

A very delightful dinner with an incredible view of Positano. Their very friendly shuttle bus driver picked us up from our B&B and took us right there and back. Good thing, because I don’t know how you’d get there without your own car. We ordered mussels with pepper to start. They were cooked perfectly. For our primi, we had penne all’arrabiata and the tagliatelle bolognese. I found the tagliatelle slightly overcooked, and the penne cooked just right. The sauce on both was excellent. We finished off by sharing the grilled swordfish, which was meaty and delicious. Service was friendly and it was a great dining experience. This is the best meal we had in Positano for sure.

SERVICE, SMILES, SPECTACULARFOODANDVIEWS. Sometimes when a hotel offers you«the secret» best spot to dine you have to be skeptical. Not true with Da Costantino. We were looking for a special place to celebrate our anniversary and Luigi and his staff welcomed us to a table with arguably one of the most spectacular views in the entire world out on a setting sun bathed Positano and Amalfi coast. Our waiter was a bit funny in that my wife had an order in mind and he looked her over, shook his head and communicated in his broken english with a bit of Italian that he had a better idea as to what she wanted and you know what? He was right, it was fantastic as were all our meals. The portion size was almost what I would classify as too large, especially when it came to the beautiful plate of incredible local fruit presented for dessert. It was kid friendly to boot as our children were also delighted with some of the new Italian favorites that this restaurant helped them discover. Luigi himself visited us and shared stories about his farm, his restaurant and his life in Italy. We came back a second night just because it was so special to us and we were equally delighted with new discoveries the second time around. Such a special time, modest prices and not only did we leave with delighted taste buds but the memories of a wonderful experience.

This may have been the best meal that I had while visiting Italy, and I had many outstanding meals. I made reservations with them for Easter Sunday in advance from the states, and they were very helpful in setting things up, even sending a driver to pick us up at our hotel in Positano. Mama cooked excellent food in the kitchen, Papa was running the front of the house, and their daughter was our waitress. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, and the view from high up in the hills was fantastic. There were four of us and everything we ate was without fail outstanding. They even brought little extras to our table grown in their garden for us to try. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who comes to visit Positano or nearby. You won’t be disappointed!

The only thing bad I can say is that we didn’t have more time to spend here. This is a must do restaurant for anyone traveling to Positano. This is a family owned business and an amazing environment. We had the seafood risotto, spaghetti, and pizza. Yum! Yum! Yum!

Oh, Positano, I miss you already! We accidentally found this restaurant while we were driving through Positano. This is up the mountain a little bit from the town center, but definitely worth heading up there. There are spectacular, aw-inspiring views of the city. There was no one there when we walked in right about noon. Within 10 minutes of our arrival the restaurant filled up. We took this as a good sign because tour buses were even coming here. We guessed we had found a hidden gem. We were right. We took a seat, ordered some wine, an appetizer and our entrées. The food was really good. I had Arancini as an appetizer and penne Arrabbiata for my meal. I have the house red wine which was good and her entire meal was fairly priced. Our service was really good and the views just topped it off. Definitely make this one of your stops when you’re visiting the Amalfi coast.
