After a long day of travel on multiple trains, including a brief slide trip on the wrong train, we popped in here for a nice and quick meal, based on the recommendation of our host. We sat outside on what turned out to be a very pleasant evening, in this incredibly casual restaurant. We were basically at a picnic table with a paper tablecloth but the evening was cool, the service was friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed our pizza very much. Perhaps it was because I hadn’t eaten in 10 hours and was dehydrated beyond imagination, but, my pizza with capers, green olives, mushrooms, ham, and peppers was a total taste sensation. I’ve never had capers and green olives together on a pizza and, I am compelled to tell you, it works! I’ll never be able to truly duplicate the first taste but, believe me, I’m going to try in the future, for sure. Recommended for a casual, friendly, tasty meal if you are in this neighborhood.
