Top Qualität das Essen ist absolut mega, slow Food vom feinsten. Eine sehr erlesene Weinkarte. Aus meiner und der Sicht meiner Familie das beste Restaurant hier in Riva del Garda. Wer uhriges Ambiente mit absoluter Spitzenqualität sucht ist hier RICHTIG!!!

Very good and personal service and perfectly prepared food. A little pricey but definitely worth it.

Was insecure in regards to the recommendations I read on Unilocal,as these have been less convincing.
Then my girlfriend and I tried the Osteria La Contrada.
It started with a small, but well chosen menu. Besides this the excellent main waiter recommended dishes that were not on the menu.
We gave it a try and had farfalle with seafood and penne with speck and truffles.
The Farfalle were excellent.
The Penne with Speck and truffles were indescribable. I am used to eat well, but this was just amazing. Together with a local white wine this was by far the most outstanding culinary experience in the last time.
The service was excellent. The main waiter presented the menu in three languages and had answers to all questions.
The price was very reasonable. With 75 to 100 $ you can facilitate you and your beloved one an unforgettable evening.
If you visit Riva, do not waste your time with mediocre places. This is the one to go.

As regular visitors to Riva del Garda, La Contrada remains our favourite restaurant in Riva. Since discovering La Contrada, we have recommended it to friends and family and enjoyed taking friends here for meals, The service is excellent, the food of the highest quality and the selection of wines very extensive. The menu offers a variety of foods, from local specialities to food that you would expect to find in high end London restaurants. The owner, Luca and his staff are friendly and the dining experience is relaxed, with them speaking good English and always happy to describe the menu and recommend good wines. The dining experience is worth paying the few extra Euros for.

Definitiv bestes Lokal bisher in der Stadt! Hervorragender Service und großartige, frisch zubereitete Speisen. Als Slowfood-​Anhänger legen wir Wert auf qualitativ hochwertige Gerichte mit Zutaten aus der Region. Wir waren mit 7 Personen zum Abendessen dort und waren durchweg begeistert.

The normal tourist hole will not do. They served a special mozzarella that was butter based and an aged parma ham. First truffles of the season from the area and gnocchi with gorgonzola and speck. All in all great. Washed down with free limoncello (a light one) and and biscotti. Tip don’t order dessert and u will get these. Being an Osteria you have a massive selection of wine. In a tourist town like this you need to look around. look no further than this place

Quite remarkable good and tasty italian food. I have been here several times.
I rarely had such high quality and tasty food experiences in a restaurant.
The slightly higher prices, therefore, do not really hurt. The Wine-​Selection is also excellent. Inside very nice, warm wood tones to sit outside in the courtyard in summer as usual is not quite in style, but that doesnt matter anyway during such a great dinner with an excellent service. The scenery gives even a down to earth bonus, where you can feel comfortable. Also a gourmet you would enjoy a delicious evening here. Promised. I would prefer to award this restaurant with six stars.
