Alpheus

Saturday nights are GIAM, which surprisingly doesn’t have the word «gay» in it but stands for «Gorgeous I Am.» Another failed Italian acronym, but they tried. :P
The venue is enormous. Alpheus has 4 dance floors, a karaōke room, 2 dark rooms (one for girls other for boys), and a huge outdoor patio. Each room plays different music: 90’s, top 40, and house. The house room is my favorite; it plays the sickest loops and becomes a total circuit party after 2am with strobe lights and lasers. The most popular dance floor is the top 40 room, which has a divided section just for girls. Only men with VIP bracelets can go in.
Every Saturday, there are live performers, dancers, strippers, gogo boys & girls, and drag queens. This club is a jungle gym of fabulousness. People aren’t too trashy and there are plenty of bars with decent drinks for 10 euro (the first one is free with your entry ticket). There’s tons of space for socializing and there’s always room to breathe.
My friends and I used to come here every Saturday. It’s pure fun and keeps it a bit classier than other gay joints, which can border on looking like crack houses. Great for a night with close friends or meeting other people.
