After a couple of hour at the beach we decided to get some food before we headed back to Rome, and stumble across Antica Ostia. The kitchen was closed but they had some left over lasagna, some meat, a lot of veggies and rise balls. I got the lasagna with a rise ball, and some salad, and my cousin got three slices of meat with salad. She re-heated it, and we sat down to eat. It was really good(even thou it was re-heated). The veggies where fresh, and she didn’t cheap out on the portion size. The waitress was a angel! What she lacked in English-skills, she made up with kindness, warmth and willingness to help out. Really glad we stumbled in to this. Only bad news was that they didn’t accept credit cards, and we didn’t even ask before we went inside. But thankfully we had some cash and sorted out our bill.
