After a long day and night in the sun we came here to get some gelato before going back to the hotel. The place was pretty much empty, but we still had to wait to get service. We ordered two scoops each and went outside to sit. The waitress totally mixed up our order, so I got one of the flavors I wanted and the second flavor was not the one I ordered, we decided not to make a big fuss. This was our fifth gelato of the trip and by far the worst. It tasted generic, and not even close to the gelatos we had before, and a real disappointment.

My cousin and I came here one night for just some gelato. We walked in and ordered 2 scoops each and the girl said, no worries I will bring it out to you. Well they brought the wrong ones out but we ate them anyway as there was no sense of changing it as it was close to what we wanted. We went inside to pay and to my shocking surprise it was 24 Euros … Yes you read correctly 24 Euros. Be prepared to be ripped off people. Never ever again will I go here again. We have had Gelato in Rome 7 times in our 3 day stay and they were all either 2 or 2.50 Euros but clearly this place wants to rip people off.

Essen war lecker, aber Kellner war sehr unfreundlich. Zuletzt wurde dann noch auf der Rechnung das Wasser zum Preis von einem Liter berechnet obwohl nur 0,75 l serviert wurde. Wir waren zu neunt und wollten ein gemütliches Abendessen in einem schönen Ambiente verbringen, wurden aber letztendlich enttäuscht.

Its my first day in Rome. Staying at mecenate palace hotel and thats why i came down to this caffe. HORRIBLESERVER!!! Me and my mother ordered pizza, beer and desert and the server told us veeeery rudely he couldnt serve us, coz we cant just sit here and order only one drink… After all the talking he «allowed“us to stay… he was ruuudest!!! Brought whole pizza pie not cut in pieces, no plates!!! I never in my life had an experience like this in any county ever!!! Plus he was saying something in italian every time he went by our table!!! HORRIBLEEXPERIENCE!!! P. S. We were very polite and nice from the beginning to end…

Ordered the steak plate and fettuccine both were okay once we added salt and pepper, but based on the price we paid I wouldn’t go back unless it was for a coffee and view of Santa Maria

Fantastic pastries, loved the selection of fresh baked breakfast pastries and amazing tarts available. Nice ambiance in a very connivent location near the train station but the Cappuccino was quite a bit bitter for me.

This is THEONLY place in Rome(during 8 days) that we ate at more than once. We ate here on the first night and the last night in Rome. FYI, it was about 120 Euros with appetizer and drinks but we were not trying to be frugal either. Our server was fantastic, the food was fantastic, and the ambiance was fantastic! My favorite was on the last night. It started to get windy and we were offered the ability to dine inside. We declined. It then started to rain and there was a table saved for us inside so at this point we went inside. Very considerate! The views were awesome from this restaurant! On the last meal I had the Sea Bass… it was the BEST! FYI, this is coming from someone who ran fresh seafood restaurants. I rarely rank high because, quite frankly, 3 stars means they did their job as I expected. This was the best restaurant during our trip(yes we went outside of Rome also). Our server made it awesome but it appeared that all servers were on their game!
