This hotel was so awesome! It was clean and modern. Great coffee and fruit basket in the room. The room was large with a large shower and separate bath tub. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. There is a great bar on the rooftop. The location is great too located near the Spanish steps. I will definitely stay here next year!!!

This hotel is well located near the Spanish steps. The staff is youngish, with a leaning toward eye candy. They try to help, but the follow through is so-so and they don’t listen or don’t understand half the time(I want to find a restaurant for lunch for a nice affordable sandwich — they try send you to a $ 100 lunch at a fancy place). Make sure you clarify whether or not your rate includes breakfast. If not, it is 18 € per person, which is not worth it. Some of the rates include it, some don’t — and with us they glossed over that fact, just saying everything is free, breakfast is upstairs til 10:30(when it was not included in our rate). They offer free water, but give it to you in 12oz bottles 2 at a time, so you are always asking for more like it is a special favor. The easiest way to communicate with them before or after your trip is by email. That said, they are unresponsive about 25% of the time. There is no gym, and they look at you like you’re from Mars if you try to coordinate that, recommend an incredibly expensive hotel gym down the street which is +/-$ 70 per person per use or something ridiculous. Try the Roman Athletic Club which is in walking distance, but not always open when you want it to be! I give my rating based on overall value. The rate is fairly high. The rooms are nice and modern, but how much time are you going to spend in the room? The concierge is important(which as an American you tend to rely on more than in the US). In my experience most of the concierge services are as good or better at other hotels in the area. Next time, I would try to find a better value and spend the money I save on food or clothes!

All positives here! Nothing negative to complain about. I would definitely stay there again. Pros: 1. room was tastefully modern. 2. As clean as humanly possible. 3. Good location. 4. Excellent wifi, AC. 5. Bed was adequate in comfort. Seemed to have a firm side and a less firm side. Also had two pillow types to accommodate differing preferences. 6. Breakfast buffet with enough options to please someone who is used to eating a real breakfast. 7. Apparently endless hot water. 8. Big(for Rome) elevators. 9. Got me into my room early(10:30a) 10. I believe I had the junior suite and there was double closet space with multiple wide drawers and a dressing area with seat. 11. Stocked fridge(free water). 12. Safe. Cons: 1. Funny small doorknobs. 2. Their Eco-friendly nature precluded us from being able to leaving the AC on while we were out. But thankfully they had a shutter system to block out the infrared waves of the sun. So it didn’t get too hot. 3. I’m a third-wave coffee snob. Coffee was tolerable at best. Sant Eustachio near the pantheon was supposedly the best coffee in Rome according to my private tour guide. It was okay. Tip. Best pizza we had was PizzaRé’s self titled pizza, the PizzaRé. Three others tried near by… No buono. Tip. Tired of Italian? Vegetarian place one block east. Pretty great break from cheese and carbs.
