Let me start by saying that the Byron burger was phenomenal. The pecorino, guincale and spinach topping a perfectly cooked beef patty were simply exquisite. The lambic beer was delicious(and I’m not a beer drinking gal). Now the ick: It took 90 minutes to get our burgers. 90MINUTES! Are you kidding me!!! Did they slaughter the cow when I ordered?! Who serves crisps with a burger? Burgers go with fries. The fried mac and cheese was pre-made and tasteless. The fried Camembert was much the same. The music reminded me of Eastern Europop circa 1992. They should have played Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Zepplin, etc. There was nowhere to set your purse in the bathroom and no hand towels. This is a no go for the ladies. All in all, I’d say that that Byron has potential and a good concept. They need to work on their execution and smooth out the kinks.
