I should have read the reviews before going BUT my father in law didn’t want to walk far for Gelato. BIGMISTAKE! High prices, bad service and they add a Service Charge to your bill without telling you. Yes, I can read BUT that’s unprofessional and tricky. Gelato is 8 – 9 € sitting inside or 3 – 4.50 € if you walk up!!! YIKES. Cakes were just okay and nothing special. Expensive. Coffees were decent, however they were small and expensive.

Horrible food. Very expensive. One waiter was decently nice to us. The food was gosh damn awful, vibe wise, there was many stares. I wouldn’t recommend going here. Bad food. Expensive service and for what? Horrible quality. You’re in Italy, don’t bother wasting your time and money here… Would’ve given no stars, but it wasn’t an option

Do not do it! Mediocre food at best. Red wine was cold. Prices were outrageous. You can do much better close by. If you sit outside hold onto everything, thievery abounds. No matter how hungry you are, find a better, off the beaten path choice.

Just don’t bother. Didn’t even get to the food. The house red wine was COLD. There are too many options nearby. Move on

Pressed for time and dropped in for a quick bite. Service was nice, no problems. However, the food and the price were a different story. We ordered 3 pizzas and 4 soft drinks and the total, including service, came to € 76,05. One of the pizzas we ordered was a capricciosa which we have ordered multiple times while in Italy and even when they first brought it out it looked disappointing. The toppings were all segregated on different slices, so one was mushroom, one was olive, and one was«prosciutto,» which was actually a solid slice of American lunch meat ham. The pizza was burned on the bottom and horribly undercooked on the top due to the massive size of the toppings. The other two pizzas we ordered were just the same. Would never come back.

We had a great salad there. Salad at fair price of 11 Euro. but it came with an bread slice that we accepted not aware of the price and was 6 euro! The good was great. Clean WC. can’t complain of service either.

I agree with the other reviews. We were hungry after doing the Trevi Fountain so we stopped in for pizza. This being our first place to eat in Rome… we didn’t know any better. It was expensive and the food was just ok. We won’t be back.

My family stopped in here after being coxed by the waiter. We noticed the prices were very high even for Rome and were going to leave when the waiter brought out a free water bottle so we decided to stay. We bought 2 lasagnas and 2 pasta and 2 wines all of which weren’t very good. The lasagna didn’t taste very fresh and the pasta sauce was very fishy. When we got the bill we were shocked to see the total at 81 euros! And the worst part was that they charged us 5 euros for water we didn’t even order. now I know why there were no locals in there

Sat down here to use the internet for 5 mins and felt it was only right to purchase something. 1 large caffe latte came to 10 euros + 1.50 service. 11.5 euros!!! Then they wouldnt take my credit card. Go to hell!

Caffe Accademia is probably the least authentic and most commercialized of the café restaurants Ive been to in Roma. It sits right across a burger king in a tourist trap area by the Trevi Fountain. It’s very over priced and the quality of the tiramisu and espresso was so so. There is a lot of tourists foot traffic on Vid del Tritone which is probably the main reason people stop in on their way back and forth from the Trevi Fountain to the Spanish steps. My recommendation is there is so many other alternatives with in 20 to 50 yards that is authentic Italian cuisine and caffe.
