Best coffee in Rome! While Italy of course has amazing espresso, it can be tough to find a good café Americano, but Caffe della Pace makes it perfect.

We couldn’t quite find the breakfast place we had in mind, but this place was close by and seemed like a local spot to sit and talk and is right next to a Museum-​Church.
Sitting down for two croissants and a Cappuccino and Espresso Macchiato, our bill was 10.5 e (somewhat pricey for a breakfast). I wasn’t particularly impressed with my cappuccino or croissant, but hubs said his Espresso Macchiato and chocolate cornetto were fairly good. This place def is great if you want to sit, grab a drink, and hang out, but not for the budget-​conscious and not for those on the go (so like tourists)

Great cocktails!
This was a nice spot for drinks. Sit outside to dip on your mojitos while you chat with friends and people watch! Awesome summertime sippy sippy spot!
They have different variations of the mojitos– I got the Italian one which was with prosecco. So refreshing and light for the hot weather. Loved it!

Great place in a great atmosphere in the heart of the artist quarter of Rome. Sitting outside is recommended as there is a lot to see and be seen.

1 étoile pour ce bar, qui semble afficher originellement une note de plus de 4 étoiles.
Il y’a une incohérence flagrante entre les prix pratiqués et la saveur des cocktails servis.
Quand on ose servir un cocktail à 10 euros, au moins, on essaie de mettre un peu d’alcool.
Là, quand bien même il y’en avait un petit peu, tu né le sens pas. Pourquoi? Parce que d’une part ton cocktail est noyé sous 3 tonnes de glaçons, et d’autre part parce qu’il y’a de l’arnaque sur les dosages: P !
Alors entre un cocktail à 16 euros au gout divin qui me fera la soirée, et un cocktail à 10 euros dont je né retiens qu’un arrière goût déplaisant, je né me demande pas longtemps ce que je préfère.
Allez, je suis sympa, je mets quand 1, pour le cadre. Parce que pour le reste, c’est raté.

Café, whisky, rhum, brandy, vodka, tequila, vin blanc, vin rouge, champagne, cocktails avec ou sans alcool, le choix de boissons est vaste mais pour ce que j’ai pu en goûter (un sex on the beach), c’était très, très fadasse. Aucune saveur, beaucoup de glaçon, vodka imperceptible… Ajoutez à cela un prix relativement élevé et au final, une déception car l’établissement est bien noté.

Il est 18h, on a mal au pied et on cherche un café sympa pour siroter un cocktail au soleil. La via della Pace est le lieu idéal pour trouver ça, avec tous ses bars plus sympas les uns que les autres.
On décide de tester le Caffé della Pace. Pourquoi? Parce que j’entends qu’il passé le CD des Strokes, cooool !
On prend un sex on the beach et un mojito (9 €/​cocktail), très bien fait (glacé pilée et feuille de menthe pour le mojito), servis avec des petits gâteaux apéritifs, trop top, mais un peu cher quand même.
Ils ont tous les cocktails classiques, et beucoup de cocktails avec des alcools italiens comme le Campari.
La serveuse était adorable.
La rue est piétonne (ou alors aucune voiture né passé) donc c’est très agréable.
La façade remplie de lierre vous empêchera sûrement de lire le nom du bar, mais qu’est-ce que c’est beau !
Bref, un bar très sympa pour se poser après la visite du Castel Sant’Angelo, ou pour se détacher de la cohue de la Piazza Navona.

Went here for apperativo. Some of the dishes were good but most were so-​so. It has a nice view of the piazza which attracts some tourists.

This place is living from the three secrets of real estate: location, location, location.
1) It’s in the historical center
2) It’s in a beautiful historical building with great interior
3) It’s where people go when going out.
Unfortunately neither their service nor their relation of quality and price can keep up with that.
We sat down in the big room with the old mirror and even though we could see the backside of the bar through the door (meaning they also could see us) nobody showed up. I finally went there and took a menu myself.
But again, nobody showed up. So I had to go to the bar again and order there. Prices are high, so you expect something when paying 4,50 for a cappuccino and 4,50 for a tea, and we skipped the slice of cake for 6,00 because they didn’t look very special at all in the display.
The surprise came later: That cup of tea marketed in a nice way on their menu (making it look like special leaves or something) — it was just the cheap tea bag you get in the discount section of any supermarket. WTF, 4,50 for a cup of water with a 10 cents tea bag? The cappuccino was ok besides being expensive. And same like before, we never saw the waitress again after she served the drinks (though on a silver plate which fits this place nicely I must admit). I had to go to the bar again to pay.
So my conclusion: you come here because the place is cool and in, and they are where everybody else goes, so perfect to watch people. It’s not the place for a gourmet coffee&tea experience. I cannot judge their 12 Euro cocktails as I have not tried them, hope they are better quality and value for the money.

Wonderful place in the heart of Rome, not far away from Piazza Navona. Maybe one of the best espressos in Rome. We enjoyed the first shafts of sunlight in spring in this beautiful corner. Fair prices!

This is more properly know as Bar Della Pace. Beautiful ivy drapes over the side of the building this place just oozes atmosphere.
This is the place to be for a fancy tipple or two. It’s expensive but worth it. You can sit with an apertif and watch the flow of people coming and going from Piazza Navona. It’s usually busy and full of classy, gorgeous Italians.
This place is right beside two of my favourite places in Rome — La Botticella wine bar and Bar del Fico. So if you’re stopping by here you may as well try the other two out also. They’re literally steps away from each other.

Un peu en retrait de la piazza Navona, le bar se trouve sur une placette relativement calme, occupée par la belle église della pace. Petites tables à même le pavé, ici on déguste le farniente et le martini (bianco, certo!) mieux que nulle part ailleurs

Laut meiner Freundin das einzige Café Roms das diese Bezeichnung verdient!
Es ist auf den ersten Blick ein sehr rustikales Ambiente, die Möbel sind sehr alt, aber nicht dreckig. So alt die Möbel, so frisch das Drumherum: aus den Boxen kommt easy listening und acid jazz, auf der Theke stehen riesige Sträuße frischer Schnittblumen, man sitzt bei Kerzenlicht. Es wird gemurmelt, es wird entspannt.
Der Wein war großartig. Die Flasche wurde für uns geöffnet. Das Glas 5EUR. Der Preis ist nix besonderes in Rom. Da hat mich schon das ein oder andere Mal der Schlag getroffen.
Aber ich habe auch gelernt, umzudenken: Wie gesagt, der Wein war großartig. Außerdem kam den ganzen Abend niemand und hat uns gefragt, wollt ihr noch etwas? Wir wurden nicht genötigt, noch etwas zu bestellen. Wir haben dennoch nie auf den Kellner warten müssen. Die Gläser wurden nicht leer. Der Wein war so köstlich, das Ambiente der Kommunikation so förderlich. Es war für mich ganz anders als in Deutschland, wo man in der Kneipe seinen Durst löscht.
