Centro Auto Trastevere di D’onofrio

We decided to take the train to Santa Marinella beach one day. From doing a bit of research online the night before I saw that the trains run roughly every 30 minutes. It’s a bit confusing how to buy a ticket, you need to purchase from the machine but the machine does have instructions in English.
Next to find the right track it’s not the best indicated but with the help of a local we were able to find the direction towards Citiaveccia.
Usually I’m very leery as I’ve been to a bunch of train stations in Europe and there are usually seedy-​low brow locals hanging around trying to scam honest tourists. This was not the case here at 10:00 AM in the morning. Maybe they were still sleeping. I was fortunately prepared with my keys in my hand to defend myself if need be!
The bus station connected to the train station makes for a very busy transit location as many people are coming and going.
This station also serves as a good point if you want a cheaper alternative (than a 50 euro cab ride to Fimuincino Airport (FCO).
