On our recent trip to Italy for our honeymoon, my husband and I stopped in this shop as I was looking for a great pair of Italian leather gloves to withstand the cold NY weather while looking stylish. I saw the leather gloves in the storefront window so we decided to stop in and my what a selection! They have just about every color you could want/imagine, as well as just about every type of leather glove style you could want including cashmere lined, non-cashmere lined, driver gloves, etc. The gentleman who helped me, I later found out was the owner, and he was extremely knowledgable — he looked at my hands and immediately knew which size glove to give me to try on. Truly fantastic service and very reasonably priced as well. I saw the owner was married so I asked him if he had any marriage advice for myself and my husband, he turned to the woman in the store, who we found out was his wife, and he said«Nothing she’s absolutely perfect» which was so sweet! They both smiled at one another and said to always have patience and communicate — very kind people. I love that Italy is so supportive of small shops and family-run businesses. If I’m ever in Rome again, I’ll definitely be returning to Di Cori for another pair of gorgeous Italian Leather gloves :).

I purchased several pairs of gloves(for my family members and myself) from Di Cori a few days ago when I was visiting Rome. The female salesperson seemed a little bit exasperated with me at first — I needed to buy gloves for others and I clearly didn’t know what I was doing! However, everyone at this tiny shop really knows what they are doing — they could size my hand just by looking across the room, and took time helping me while I perused all of their beautiful models and colors. Because all of the gloves were of exceptional quality — very soft leather, and well-made, it really became a «tyranny of choice» situation — did I want blue, green, orange, or fuscia? Which shade? I couldn’t really go wrong, but it was so hard to make a decision! The prices were fair — lower than many competitors selling similar quality(or often lower quality) gloves. The unlined models with the small holes work with iPhone(although you need to press a bit harder than with bare fingers). I wish that it were not 90 degrees back in the States so that I could wear them!
