We found this place on Unilocal. It’s a typical trattoria in the Travestere neighborhood in Rome. The venue is small(which is not unlike many local restaurants) and reservation is required. We didn’t know so we had to wait a bit. A quick glance around the room tells us they probably don’t see a lot of tourists walking in. Nonetheless the owner was friendly and offered an English menu, he also pointed out the daily specials in Italian menu.(Thanks to google translate app we were able to scan the Italian menu and get real time translation!). After eating night after night in touristy areas, this was a nice retreat. We ordered a couple of pasta and meat dishes and they were all delicious. Price was way cheaper too. How I would love to have this type of restaurant back home(CA)!
