This is our second and final night in Rome on our way South… And we are again eating with our new friends at Leoni d’ Abruzzo! This is one of the best dining experiences we have had on on our current trip to Italy. Great antipasto’s pasta and the veal and vegetables will be hard to duplicate. Service was the best! This place will be on our list for years to come!

After order a Chianti bottle, I ask for the wifi code, they don’t have!!! I told my fiancé about this restaurant not get any reviews is because they don’t have free internet!!! Now we back on our hotel a block away both writing a review! Amazing food, my favorite in Rome! Service was great, they split everything for us without asking! And the desert was pistachios ice cream with berries was unbelievable! Totally recommend in Roma!

The reception at our hotel suggested this restaurant and it delivered. A little on the pricy side but it was worth it. The waiter was friendly and helpful, the wine he suggest(chianti Classico) was wonderful. We got the prochuto with melon, arugula, beef slice and parmigiana, penne Arabiata, lamb chops and house favorite cherry and pistachio ice cream dessert. All were good. And they split all items without fuss and extra charge.

We ate here on our last night in Rome, it was suggested by staff at the hotel. It’s one of those places that you see the outside and inside and automatically assume it might not be all that great. We went in, sat at a table and noticed mannyyyy locals, a good sign. I ordered bruschetta(came the seasoned tomatoes, and fresh garlic and basil) artichoke(which was the best Ive ever had) and tortellini pasta with tomato sauce. We also paid $ 2 each for bread to start, which was hard but came with soft butter. My fiancée ordered the lasagna since he didn’t want to astray too far from the regular, and man was it different. It had a creamier texture like they put sour cream in it, I only had one bite and wouldn’t ever order that again. Staff was friendly and wine was great($ 3 for a house wine) we got a pitcher for $ 5 and it was wonderful. We also got dessert and it was by far the best!!! Don’t forget to order the fruit and gelato thing(idk what it was called) Id go there again and order the same exact thing just not the lasagna :)

This was a good stop. It was close to the hotel. Had yummy pasta. Also had the house red wine which was good. Had a large menu, also in English and helpful waitstaff. Would recommend a stop by.
