I moved to Rome two years ago, so initially I was just hanging out and about hoping to find some place that«feels like home». And I found it. :) I loooove those little lights and the magical atmosphere they create. Music follows perfectly. The whole space is calling you out to sit back, relax and live the moment. A perfect spot to enjoy great wines and conversations! Tasty snacks and light food to go along with wines. Both the food and the service were exceptional. So yes, this is my favorite place in Rome. Considering it’s practically in the heart of Rome I couldn’t ask for more… I suggest you try«Carbonara» and«Tiramisu»!

I never miss the opportunity to visit Mimi e Coco when I’m in Rome. I have been visiting this establishment for years. The food and drinks are amazing and the service can’t be beat. I look forward to returning for many years to come. If you’re in Rome please find your way there for a meal and drink at Mimi e Coco. If the salmon with red peppercorns is on the menu I highly suggest it.

Gentle staff, good wines(and coffee), pizzas and some italian food in a good location. I also liked the music a lot. Worth sitting there and watch the daily life happen around you. Prices are fair too. Try it.

Serafino! I love you! What a great waiter. We felt so welcome here. It’s such a lovely ambiance. Our bottle of rosé wine was perfect and so was the service. Definitely recommended! P. S. The camparisoda is STRONG!!!

Hmmm, was für ein Lambrusco! Und dazu noch ein kleiner Antipastiteller gratis… Klasse!

3.5 stars. A good meal with friendly service, though nothing incredibly out of the ordinary for our lunch stop. Had a pizza, which was fine but had the most industrial-strength crust on any pizza I have eaten thus far in Italy… Definitely needs to be eaten American-style and not with a knife and fork. Salads are more«rustic» and lettuces are big heads of the stuff chopped. Had a nice prosciutto and melon salad. For hot Italian summer days… There’s air conditioning. *thumbs up* Wifi has the strangest password ever.

Best and most cosy place in Rome for Wine and snack/lunch. We spent 2 – 3 hours for 4 days straight, and the service was excellent, the Wine really good and cheap båd the place is situated in one of the cosiest places in Rome. Go there and feel the genuine Rome spirit !

This was our last night in Rome and had been in Capri all day so we were tired and ready to pack up our things. We decided on a meat and cheese plate and focaccia. Everything was great — including the wine. The service was ok the meat and cheese was pretty good. Not a mozzarella fan but there were four different types of cheeses and lots of thinly sliced meats to choose from too. Loved Rome!!!

We had high hopes. Our friends ate here and liked it. Sadly, we didn’t have a good experience. The service was terrible. .. slow and dishonest. We had to ask for things multiple times. I wanted to order a beer and asked them what kind they have. Our waiter replied that they only have one kind, so that’s what I got. I later saw other beers being delivered to tables. .. and, of course, the beer he brought me was expensive. It was only a couple euros difference, but it was still disappointing. The food was average. We had starters, several pastas and a main. Nothing stood out as particularly good or bad.

I spent three days in Rome, and this was the best all-around place at which I ate! My wife and I sat down here for a drink, and ended up staying for dinner as well. The service was terrific! They were so friendly and accommodating, and even gave us some free drinks. We started off with wine and bruschetta(which was OUTOFTHISWORLD), then I ate the ravioli, while my wife had potatoes with veggies. Our waiter gave us free limoncello drinks afterwards! I’d highly recommend this place and hope to go back myself!

Wonderful intimate place! Highly recommend. Our server was a sommelier and had great recommendations for wine pairings. Be sure to try their amazing bruschetta — the tomatoes and olive oil are so fresh and so orgasmic. We tried an assortment of pastas and the risotto too. My favorite was the tortellini — SOGOOD. For dessert, our server gave us complimentary tiramisu, Apple pie with gelato, and hazelnut biscotti with limoncello — all were so wonderful. Although I will only be in Rome for a few days, I will be definitely coming back.

Really great place! Went here for drinks but ended up staying much longer than initially intended and scrapped our original dinner plans somewhere else. Good music and friendly staff!

Pleasant outdoor seating on a cute street full of restaurants. Good service. The bucatini all’amatriciana(9EUR) was oddly neon orange in color and average in flavor. It was served with a few tiny pieces of lettuce and corn on the side.

Great for drinks and people watching in the best hood in Rome. Great cross selection of Italian wines by the glass. Wifi is a nice bonus. No sitting fee. Drinks include tomato bruschetta and olives. Nice touch.

Tourist trap. Great ambiance /seating and that’s what drew us in, along with the other tourists. My wife and I got a bottle of wine and some pizza. Both of the pizzas were awful. Tasted like something we could get in the US. There are by far better places to grab legit Italian food. This is not the place. If want a cool spot near Piazza Navona for drinks this is your spot. If you’re looking for a good Italian dinner, find another place.

Wonderful wine bar in Rome. I went once for dinner, and once for aperitivo. Indoor and outdoor seating, small, cute decorations, homey feel. The menu has great options, and my lasagna was delicious. My dad ordered the crispy potatoes and raved about them. Of course, the wine options were extensive and reasonably priced. For aperitivo, our table shared the king cheese platter, which had 3 – 4 different cheeses, cold cuts, olives and nuts. For 4 of us, this was perfect alongside the house rosemary focaccia. After we paid the bill, we stuck around for a bit talking. Our waiter apologetically asked if we would mind giving up our table for a party that had been waiting to be seated for a while. I found this odd and certainly not very Italian, but since we were done we agreed. As a consolation, they ushered us over to the bar and gave us each a free shot of limoncello. I have disliked every limoncello I had tried up to this point, but the house-made stuff was actually delicious and easy to drink(which is how it should be).

Had some birthday drinks here for my boyfriend at midnight. Lovely setting with the fairy lights and wine bottles on the table. Bonus point: you get little snacks with your drink i.e. crisps and nuts which we didn’t see to often in Rome compared to a previous hol in Lake Garda.

Mimi caught our eye with soft yellow lighting and candles in old wine bottles on every table; and I couldn’t resist. There were no tables available outside and when we asked to wait for one, we were given a glass of Prosecco while we waited(free of charge). After about 15min we were given a great little table and proceeded to have a leisurely and delicious meal, which(even with a 22euro bottle of wine — they don’t do carafes of house) came to 52Euro*. The servers were friendly, spoke perfect English, and gave us the romantic night we were hoping for. (The only reason it isn’t getting 5 stars, is because I reserve that for«Epic Meals in History» … and although this was wonderful, it isn’t something I’ll tell my grand kids about.) *We were a party of 2 and we split 3 courses.

We spent a week in Rome in July where we walked and ate and walked and ate and walked and ate. It was perfect. My favorite meal of the week was the one we had at Mimi e Coco, not just because it was outrageously delicious, but because it was the kind of evening I will think back on during the long Buffalo winter as the definition of SUMMER. It was so relaxing and pleasant to sit for a few hours, eating and talking, enjoying the incredibly friendly and efficient service and listening to the street musicians nearby. The restaurant is just off the busy Piazza Navona, and it’s great for people watching as hundreds of people walked by. And seated near us was a couple on a first date, a young family, an impossibly gorgeous couple who had just pulled up on their Vespas and ate with their helmets hanging from their chairs, an elderly couple(the woman kissed the waitress on the cheek as they left and then placed her arm through her husband’s as they strolled off on the cobblestones…) We lingered over wonderful food(best pasta carbonara I had in Rome, and my starter was a delicious arugula/salmon/pine-nut wonder) and house wine, drank our limoncello and planned our next day’s adventures. I highly recommend this place! And if you can’t find it, I hope that you find your own wonderful spot to remember from your Roman Holiday.

I had a wonderful time at Mimi e Coco on my first night in Rome. Service was friendly, ambiance was charming and the food was delicious. Mimi e Coco is situated on a charming street close to Piazza Navona. The mozzarella and prosciutto as well as the stuffed ravioli were both amazing and the house wine was great. I would recommend this for a casual night out or happy hour while in Rome. I will definitely be back!

Verkauft werden v.a.
