This was hotel was perfect for us in Rome! Our room was huge with a king bed and couch area. It was clean and the bathroom was very large. The breakfast was good, a mix of hot and cold. It was in piazza del popolo, which is a lovely area and a 5 min walk to a huge park which had an amazing sunset. It’s also about 10 min to Spanish steps and 20 to Trevi fountain. Unfortunately it’s about 35 – 40 min to coliseum or Vatican but we took a taxi and it was $ 8 euro and worth it. I would stay here again!

No air conditioning(broken) the first night of our stay. In my book, this is not acceptable for a hotel that charges $ 250/night. Didn’t offer any compensation in any shape or form(free breakfast, for instance).

The food was good. I especially loved my pappardelle with mussels and pecorino(though it was a tad too al dente). But I feel like they were trying to squeeze extra money out our wallets any chance they got. For example, I ordered an appetizer of fritto misto with stuffed zucchini blossoms. I only got one zucchini blossom. Don’t get me wrong, all of the other fried vegetables were scrumptious, especially when paired with the tiny bit of aged balsamic vinegar on the side, but when you mention an expensive item in the food description I want more than one piece of it. The waiter also talked us unto getting a more expensive cut of beef, saying it was more tender. We ended up with several bites of tender, perfectly cooked steak but also more gristle than we’d like. Service was very professional, and we were treated very well despite coming in in a huff around 13:30, hungry, tired, three kids and a stroller in tow. The dining room is clean and my son loved the moped in the middle of the room. Bathroom in the basement was very clean. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience. We ate some good food. I just wish that it wasn’t so expensive.

We LOVED this little place! It is on Via di Ripetta right by Piazza del Popolo. We’ve had prosciutto with melon for appetizer and carbonara and gnocchi fiori for seconds. Wow! The gnocchi was UNBELIEVABLE! Great food with lovely atmosphere. Our server was very nice and their prices are reasonable.

We had a CHARMING two weeks in Rome, and consider the Residenza di Ripetta our home away from home! The Property is a converted nunnery and was once a home for wayward girls. The building’s history gives the property a unique personality. The public areas are tastefully decorated, spacious, and pleasant. We were upgraded to a huge suite that faces the courtyard. Even though our room was near an elevator, it was still very peaceful. The housekeeping staff does a great job in keeping the rooms clean.(only housekeeping setback was that the carpet is a little aged.) The breakfast is not jump-for-joy fantastic, but does gets the job done. This property is in the part of town known as the«Tridente.» It is close to the Spanish Steps, Palazza Del Popolo, and most importantly, the shopping street Via Condotti. We loved it here, and would return in a heartbeat.

Prix excessifs Un décor assez somptueux, presque trop et les pièces sont vraiment très sombres. Les prix sont mirovolants; il vaut mieux passer son chemin et chercher encore.
