Very good family restaurant. The owner will meet you and recommend what to choose. Also he plays piano. It makes atmosphere very romantic.
The food is fresh and tasty. We had starters, fish and pasta. All was delicious.

Very nice local place that we’ll visit again. We unfortunately arrived very late (10:15pm) with no reservations, the place was full, so needed to wait until just after 11pm for a table. The friendly owner/​piano player/​singer gave us a glass of pro secco while we waited. The fish was all sold out (no surprise since it was so late), so we went with tagliatelle al freddo and gnocchi in tomato sauce, with mixed appetizers to start. The gnocchi were great, so soft and fresh, obviously handmade. The sauce was also good. A warm ricotta drizzled with balsamic and sautéed bell peppers were our favorite appetizers. Very affordable, convivial and welcoming atmosphere, we were the only tourists last night. We’ll go again this week to try the fish, and consider making reservations this time!

Good food not expensive needs reservations (also if u want a special dish or desert, call ahead).

Excellent quaint neighborhood café. Only 7 tables but we arrived when they just opened and the owner (also waiter, piano player, singer) greeted us with a very warm Italian greeting. Dinner was outstanding, especially the gnocchi made in house by the owners wife. Nice reasonable wine selection to go with good prices on the menu items. They also had a gentleman playing a trumpet accompanied by a soundtrack outside on the steps into the evening air, very nice, quite romantic. It was a night in Rome I will always remember.

We had a delightful meal at this charming little restaurant. Although every table was filled with tourists the evening we were there, there was nothing touristy about the experience. Just delicious food, gracious service, and a warm atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant. Do make reservations as the restaurant is very small and fills quickly.

Very nice little mom and pop restaurant. Great service and great food. We had the chicken cutlets. Light and delicious.

It is a small and cozy place. People welcomed us cordially. I enjoyed the nice live music played on the Baby Grand. We had tasty pasta, fresh salad and a very good white wine. Unfortunately the can of coke did mit fit well into the atmosphere and the pasta was served with too much oil for my taste.

My husband and I had dinner here last night. So far, it’s the best meal we’ve had in Rome. This is a small place owned by a couple. They are very much involved with the wife as chef and husband taking care of the front of the house. He also provides entertainment playing piano and singing. The gnocchi was light and prepared with a flavorful, fresh tomato sauce. I had the fish special which was sea bass. Beautifully cooked and presented. Prices are reasonable and service superb. Be sure and make a reservation, so you don’t miss out on this special place!

Loved everything — the food, the service, the music! From start to finish everything was delicious!

Hearty, homey and full of love. A kitchen in a home. I had the best spaghetti and seafood pasta ever. Great veal. We also had the best ricotta, mozzarella and smoky mozzarella. All were fresh and earthy. House wine was superb. Owner and chef wife are good folks who also sing and play the piano in this intimate restaurant that holds about fifteen persons. A must in Rome.
