This is a 5 star place. Room was great, the staff was amazing, they went over and above to make sure every second of our stay was as good as it could be. These people care about your stay and it shows. Great breakfast, drinks in the evening. I can’t say enough about the staff. They really made our stay enjoyable.

Maybe my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at, anywhere. The friendliest staff you’ll ever find, well appointed rooms that are spacious by Roman standards, a cool crypt you can go into and enjoy prosecco before dinner, and a rooftop terrace and garden serving up a tasty breakfast every morning. Got great recommendations from the staff every time I asked about something to do, see, or eat. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

I’m shocked that there hasn’t been a more recent review of this exceptional inn. Upon our arrival after a long transatlantic flight, we were greeted with refreshments and the sunniest of smiles and dispositions. While we sipped our drinks and toured the ruins which are connected via a passageway, our check in was completed. Our room was stunning. Luxurious. I’ve tried to upload pictures, but to no avail. You’ll have to trust me. Stefano, Rosalba, Hilda and the entire staff attended to our every need. They helped with dinner reservations. They pointed us towards excellent gelato places. Il Gelatone is the place! And you have to go to Ai Tre Scalini! They even let me practice my limited Italian The breakfast offerings were vast and delicious. The cocktail reception in the evenings were a nice respite after touring all day. The inn is walking distance to the Colosseum and Palatin Hill. The Inn at the Roman Forum was my first introduction to Rome. To Italy. I will have such fond memories.

We loved this hotel. Very close to everything, great food, friendly staff. My only complaint was the room a bit warm(my husband didn’t mind).

Stayed for our honeymoon 4 years ago and cannot wait to return. Seeing as there is not a Four Seasons in Rome(hint, hint) and the St. Regis is in a decidely unfavorable area, this boutique option shines through. The rooms are spacious by Roman standards and you cannot beat the short stroll to the heart of ancient Rome. Enjoy breakfast on the lovely terrace if the weather permits. Ciao!

Outstanding!!! Stayed here for 3 nights in June. A great little boutique hotel with gracious and hospitable service in the heart of Old Rome.
