We got fooled by the ambiance and came here the last day of our trip. Coffee was ok. Being vegetarians, For breAkfast we ordered mushroom sandwich and croissant. Both tasted stale and the sandwich had fish smell. Total cost– 16 euro only cash also. Total waste and non sense place. Wish I had read Unilocal reviews before entering to this place. Do not visit this place. Tons of places offering fresh food for good prices!

Horrible, stale food. Bugs all over it. Very rude service. Expensive for the flavorless food you get.

Pizza was horrible & flavorless… Gnats flying everywhere even on the food! We paid the full tab and the waiter saw I only had a bite of my pizza and was confused why I was still paying if I didn’t eat. I told him it’s ok take the money & the food, maybe it’ll help with enhancing their food products!

THEYDONTACCEPTCREDITCARDSSOBEWARE. Or at least supposedly they don’t. But then again in the end after I spent 30 min seriously running around Rome after midnight trying to get change for dollars, paying a random restaurant $ 60 to get 35 Euros which was our bill… came back to pay these guys while my wife waited there, the lady at the exit says, oh our machine wasn’t working today. Yeah right! Bogus. Food was okay not too fresh, service was decent till it was time to pay the bill. But there are so many flies in the place. Don’t go by the cute bakery look, I would stay away from this place. Especially after they treated me and my wife!

Be weary of 24 hour spots near the Termini station. This one in particular was close to our hotel but they had flies all over the dessert and we were served two slices of ham when the menu specifically said prosciutto. On top of it, there was a dead mosquito on it. Pizza was gross too. Save your hunger for the next day.

Came here for a warm drink and to sit after a long day of trying to figure out the Metro system. Super close to the Termini station, and was AMAZInG!!! The hot chocolate wasn’t too sweet((I added sugar)) and their pastries we’re perfect. I ordered a hot chocolate and the 5 petite pastries and paid around $ 12 not too bad. The waitress spoke a little english but was able to help us very much. Cute little café near the center of that area.

Food is premade and they put a service fee on my bill with hardly any service. Wtf. I paid the service fee in pennies and the waiter’s mumbling in Italian while taking away the money. Probably talking shit about me. What ever, my pocket just got lighter from getting rip of all those pennies. Don’t eat here, there are lots of better choices around.

Other folks reviewing this pace do not understand what they are walking into. Food is prepared and held on a steam table for quick service. This is where you come for a quick bite, not a big sit-down meal. They serve good pasta dishes, great pastry, and have a serviceable bar. I have passed may hours in here with friends and colleagues working on documents and planning activities. It is one of the best places in proximity to the train station.

If I could I would give this place a ZERO. The additional«service charge» is completely unacceptable, for two coffees marked at 1.50 and two pastries at 1.50, this breakfast should have been 6 euros but ended up being 16.00 This charge taught me a valuable lesson, as everywhere else I went, I made sure to ask about the«service charge» to sit. I then found out that this caffe is the only one(in my eight day experience) to over charge for sitting. I find this sad and disgraceful! At least have the decency to inform customers of this«service charge» before you sit them down.

Im actually giving this place 3.5 stars. 3 for cuteness and .5 for the actual food. The store is located right infront of the Termini station. Its the cutest little bakery shop. Filled with sweets, gelato and tiny little sandwiches that are the size of a penny. Now THAT alone could earn them the 5 stars… but I start deducting because they dont accept credit cards, they were fighting among eachother while we were ordering and the food was just BLAAH. They should spend more time on the quality fo their pastries. It was not terrible by any means, but mediocre at its best. If I were in Rome, around this caffe, and hungry, I might consider stopping, but I would never go out of my way searching for it.

€ 51 For 4? Really?!? When we first arrived to our area we actually asked the waiter here to help us find out hostel’s street. We then thought about coming back and check them out since the waiter seemed nice. Tonight we decided to have dinner here. We had 4 pasta dishes at € 7 each. Not bad so far. A cappuccino which was delicious, a liter of bottled flat water. Don’t expect them to freshly prepare your food either. Apparently it’s cooked in a large batch and reheated to order… Like a deli honestly. So far we seemed to have enjoyed our food, but the service wasn’t up to par. Still we decided to try the cannoli, which we kept eyeballing through a windoa displays for the last 3 days when leaving and returning to our hostel. We tried 5 mini desserts for € 5. When one of us asked for a gelato in the ‘piccolo’ cup. The blonde female server brought out what they called small. It turned out to be at least a pint sized cup of gelato. We right away told them no… That’s too much! We wanted a piccolo paper cup which usually fits 2 choices of gelato and averages € 2,50 at other places. They charged € 6!!! Ridiculous!!! Our total was € 51. The biggest disappointment was the terrible service. The food was delicious, but they play dumb with tourists and unfortunately the language barrier was what made us just want to get the hell out of that place. They almost ruined our last night in Rome… Almost ;) PS– I would have given them no stars, but Unilocal has a minimum. We weren’t the only ones to walk out of that place upset. Another pair of ladies walked out after being ignored for complaining about their food when it was prepared incorrectly. We are the type of people who are not too picky. Do not ignore this review and think you want to give this place a chance. Take your money elsewhere. Mom n pop shops haven’t failed us yet and the sandwiches from the food carts have been phenomenal.

WARNING: This place sucks like no other! Yep, this is literally as bad as an experience gets. The waitress seemed disgusted to serve the few people there, but made occasional efforts so OK. We tried to eat dinner at 9 after being tired as hell, so just dove in and the recent sized menu was all unavailable. Only offerings were some plain pizzas or the cold counter like in a US grocery store. We don’t know better, so we ordered two plates, and the a cold pasta plate was just sour at first, but now we wonder if it was spoiling. Glad we didn’t polish it off. Prices were decent on those, so we figured we’d pick out a pastry from their huge beautiful counter and it was their recommended one, but we didn’t care for it, and that is fine. But the problem on top was that it was a € 62.5″ tart and € 5 small fanta! The street vendors in the middle of the most touristy areas would charge € 3 for a soda and laugh at you, so this place goes for € 5? That $ 7 for an f’ing can from the self serve fridge next to their exit! F you guys… thanks for nearly ruining the entire country for me because that experience seared into my memory

Big tourist trap. They reheat food that is on display when you walk inside, not cooked to order. The service is also not the best, as he was short and quick to leave us. They also tack on a small service fee… funny math. The pizza tasted like those from American delis, spaghetti didn’t come out with meat(despite the menu saying it would), and my «tomato sauce pasta» ended up being some creamy tortellini. Really?! Big disappointment. Only come here if you are dying of hunger and have no where else to go.
