This place didn’t start off well. It was recommended to us by the B&B owner that we were staying with. It was on one of the main streets with many other restaurants, so we figured we would try it and do some people watching. It was a hot day, so I was after some cold beer and maybe a slice of pizza, which this place advertised. Of course since it was the afternoon, pizza wasn’t yet available. We were greeted by the matron/owner. She did not speak English and did not want to listen to anything we were asking about/for. My wife speaks fair Italian and was asking about what we wanted but she kept pushing 2 – 3 items on the menu and even tried showing us a newspaper article that said how great the place was. We had just decided we had enough when her son appeared, spoke English and asked us what we wanted. My wife ordered something on the menu. I ordered something off the menu, and they both were very good. The draft beer was Moretti, and tasted like it had been sitting in the pipes forever. The next beer was bottled Heineken(which we were trying to avoid) and was good… for Heineken. We give this place a pass overall.
