La Loggia was just as advertised – outstanding. We were the only family in the restaurant on a Sunday evening and had a pleasant time talking with the owners and enjoying excellent food. Don’t be fooled by the more modern appearance of the restaurant – its authenticity is legit. I highly recommend!

I liked this place! They had wine and olive oil(?) for sale on the shelves. The pasta was fresh and really good. I ordered bread with garlic as well, which turned out to be more of a single bruschetta cracker with chili oil and possibly some garlic– kind of steep for 2 € but it was good! Kind of wish they played some music in the background, but they give a ridiculous amount of house wine for like 5 € or something, so it’s all fine :)

I am surprised no one has reviewed this place. If you are in Tuscany please visit this place. Great food.

I genuinely recommend this restaurant. It was truly the best customer experience that we received in Italy. The food was excellent and well priced. The portion sizes were very giving and actually had left overs. The pasta was the best I’ve ever had. Try this place, you wont regret it!

The best pasta we had in italy. What ismore important all ingredients are extremly fresh and you can taste it. Add to this a home like atmosphere and this is your best choice for food in San G.

This was one of the best meals we have had on our trip! We were greeted by the friendly owners immediately upon arrival. Everything was amazing from then on. We ordered the assorted cheese plate with meats and bruschetta to start(beyond amazing), I had the mushroom ravioli and my husband had pesto pasta. You could tell everything was hand-made and extremely fresh. The owners took the time to get to know each customer and that’s how we found out they had a farm where their ingredients came from! A must try if you are in Tuscany!!! We loved our experience!

I completely agree with everything the Texans wrote. Food was Excellent. Price was very reasonable. Filippo was as friendly as could be. I tried the Ribolitta soup in every town I went to, and theirs was The Best. We also loved the Porcini Risotto. Every single person in our group of 8 loved their meal, including my hard-to-please mother and picky daughter. A little hard to find: very south end of San Gimignano. Take the ‘alley’ directly above the round-a-bout at the sound end of the village. The restaurant is attached to the right side of the Coop supermarket.

Our host who lives just outside of San Gimignano, recommended this restaurant as a place that the local Tuscans dine. When we entered, we were greeted by one of the owners, Filippo, with a smile and told to sit where we we would like. We chose the patio. Antipasti course was Pecorino Al Forno(Sheep Cheese cooked in the oven) this dish when served was bubbling hot and ready to be served over fresh bread. We were amazed as we sat and watched numerous other patrons come in that that this was truly a local restaurant. We were the only ones on the restaurant speaking English, yet Filippo spoke perfect English and was happy to make recommendations for our meal. He was spot on. Our meal was fabulous. My first course was a special, Pici Salsiccia & Porcini– fabulous. My husband had Pappardelle Al Cinghiale– pasta with wild boar and tomato sauce. My main course was Fagioli All’Uccelletto Con Salciccie(white beans & Sausage) — so tasty, I ate every bite. My husband had Stracotto Al Chianti(slow cooked veal cooked on red wine) extremely thin, tender pieces of fork tender veal cooked in a scrumptious red wine sauce. Paired with local wine, our dinner was a true Tuscan dining experience. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu– truly divine. We will be here for four more days and will definitely be back!
