Amazing food. Our server was great and had a great personality. Highly recommend for fresh seafood and fish.

This is an excellent restaurant in Sorrento. Our waiter showed us a gluten free menu right away once he heard my wife has an intolerance. We shared a sea food antipasti dish which had a nice selection of seafood. We had grilled fish and a seafood risotto as a main with some veggie side dishes, both very nice(especially the risotto). Desert was nice too. Recommended!

Don’t eat in any restaurant in the main squares in Sorrento. If you want amazing italian food look for La Fenice. We were there in August for one week and we went there 3 nights. We would have gone more if we found this place earlier. The wait staff is very friendly and the fresh, homemade and authentic. WELOVEDTHISPLACE. We even took some business cards to give to people we met at our hotel. Too bad I can’t give them more stars in this rating.

Poor service! We were seated outside at a wobbly table that happen to be on a sewer drain. The waiter was completely uninterested and inattentive. The king prawns, mussels marinara and risotto milanese were average at best. Fried calamari was rubbery. House red wine was not good. Overall poor experience.

This restaurant was suggested to us by our hotel. The service was excellent, and the food was very good as well! My sister and I ordered vegetarian: the gnocchis and risotto with mushrooms and the mushroom pizza! The food was amazing, especially the gnocchis and risotto. I would def go back! We also got a free le moncello drink, pretty cool! Free bread here as well!

La Fenice has the very best seafood in Sorrento! I was recommended this spot the first night I was in Sorrento, last November(yes, I visited for the first time in November — I know… a little silly), but needless to say it was still an amazing trip. Returned to the seaside this past August with a lot of friends, and of course made our way for a big family dinner at La Fenice one night. Not a disappointment to be found. We had an incredible time, great house wine, amazing seafood, everything just perfect. Not only is the food great at La Fenice, but I found myself surrounded by more local people there. It’s off the main tourist square trap, and a little quieter and relaxed than most in Piazza Tasso. I would highly recommended La Fenice to anyone visiting Sorrento looking for excellent seafood. It’s a bold statement, but its quite easily my favorite restaurant in Sorrento —- besides Nonna’s kitchen ;-) Baci e abbracci!!!

This was the first Italian seafood restaurant we hit in sorrento. Portions were on the moderate. Very fresh seafood. We ordered: Fruitti di Mare: pasta with clams and mussels. Didn’t blow me away like I expected. Mussels w/garlic: a nice appetizer. Simple and a nice amount of mussels. King prawns: I think my wife expected something different. It was just four big prawns in a red sauce. I think she was hoping for pasta to be served with it. Service was good like all the restaurants in Italy. A little pricey and not great bang for your(euro) buck. But decent food nonetheless.
