Local supermarket known as Gigi’s! Legend says that the owner (aka Gigi) sits on his office chair everyday in front of the cash registers and shouts at his employees while watching the money roll in.
This place is amazeballs. Fruit and veggies are cheap and local. Both delicious Italian and Slovenian things. The cold cuts and cheeses offered are really tasty and the price is great.
No parking lot but you can always find a spot at the end of the road.
It’s well hidden in opicina but worth the treasure hunt.
Staff are really nice but will probably only speak to you in Italian or Slovenian.
