Located on the island of Murano a bit away from the glass shops and tourist areas we happened to stop in for lunch and I loved everything about this place.
Tip: It’s well worth spending the day in Murano and check out all the glass shops and artisans workshops.
It’s a seafood and pasta place and the menus look tacky and we almost did not stop here. Service is courteous and the food is simply amazing. I ordered the Spaghetti Vongole with Squid and it was delicate, flavourful and the squid was cooked to perfection.
The tiramisu for dessert was also very good and creamy and packed with flavour. We had the house Rosetta for drink and it was reasonable and a great drop for a warm day.
Coffee and Limoncello here is also excellent. The limoncello I had was one of the best ever for me.
I would gladly come back here and it is quite reasonable. The waiters do speak some English so you should not have a problem. Pick something from the daily specials and you won’t be disappointed. Don’t expect fancy food but the taste is exceptional.
