Caffe’ Bucintoro

Great location. Sat here for afternoon drinks and watched the cruise ships sail past. Nice way to rest your feet after a few hours of sightseeing. Didn’t eat just had a bottle of when to relax before having dinner later on. Service was good.

After wandering from Piazza San Marco, my friend and I stopped here to eat since it was right off the water. Like most places near the tourist spots, they will charge you extra.
The big issue I had was that the water asked for my order and then yelled at me when I ordered mineral water. While I might be hard of hearing, he seemed annoyed and other people noticed. That to me is an automatic negative. I’m not sure if it had to do with the fact that we didn’t want to wait for him to come back since it seemed like we were sitting there for a while before they would give us a menu.
My friend’s pizza was fine and my penne was actually good, but the whole experience was marred by the waiter. There are plenty of places you can eat, so don’t feel obligated to stop here.
