This place is a gem, they serve pretty good coffees here. Seems like a place where the locals hang out. I had their special Marrachino coffee, it’s latte with chocolate sprinkles on it. Place is kind of small and cosy but good for small groups of 4 – 5 people. They serve a variety of cakes, ice creams and some salads too. Great for an afternoon tea snack and place to take a break. They also sell their coffee beans too if you’d like to take some back as a souvenir :) It’s not that hard to find(if you have a map), it’s at a corner side street but had a sign. If you do find this place, you’re in luck! Enjoy!

Caffe del Doge is a great little Café down a side-street near the Rialto Bridge(fantastic and NOT full of other tourists — win!). The staff are friendly(especially regarding my limited Italian!), and they have an enormous and exciting Coffee menu that is absolutely worth stopping in and checking out when feeling like a refresher late into the afternoon after a day of exploring the city. Although every option looked good, their cinnamon-loaded Cappuccino won the day and won my heart, influencing how I’ll look to sweeten my coffees forever more.

Nice to see single origin espresso. We occupied a table for awhile. Kind servers and a pleasant visit. That said the smoothie for our niece was not palatable. Go for coffee.

My husband was really obsessed with their chocolate coffee. We were there everyday we were in Venice just for that one cup of coffee. So if you are in Venice, that is some coffee to try. The café is very clean with clean restrooms as well. It is not overly crowded like most places in Venice which is a plus and you get to sit down and sort of take it all in.

A perfect coffee shop just a bit off the beaten path. We had an ice cappuccino and a chocolate hazelnut hot coffee. Both were very good and had lots of flavor, the staff was very fast and friendly. The Caffè was very clean and had a WC.

Just had a really nice breakfast here on our last day in Venice! I loved the atmosphere and the location! The location definitely suits those that are looking for the so-called Venizzzzish sensation! I’ll definitely return to this place on my next trip to my beloved Venice

Had a delicious macchiato here. Really good! This is the highest rated and most award winning coffee in Venice and I could see why.

WARNING: This coffee shop is NOT located at Sestiere Castello 5197 and if the map that Unilocal is showing still has the marker on Sestiere Castello(near Viale Trento), DONOT go there, because you will not find a coffee shop. All you will find there are local residences, and the numbers there don’t even go up to 5197. We just went to Venice in Sept 2015, tried to find this coffee shop and couldn’t. We started walking a different route back and just happened to run into another coffee shop at 1828 Via Giuseppe Garibaldi(find on Google Maps) which was serving coffee in Caffe del Doge mugs. Still not sure if it’s an official Caffe del Doge, but the coffee was good, the woman running the place was lovely(thought not much of an English speaker), the location was scenic, and best of all, there weren’t any tourists besides us. Great pastries, too.

I went here last year during my trip to Europe. My husband and I went here three times because it was so good. It’s a local café in the little alleyway and the ambience is great. It was mostly locals there, and I just really enjoyed the atmosphere and the experience. I bought a couple of cups to take home as a souvenir… I plan on coming back next year I hope it is still as sweet!

Great selection of single origin espressos and knowledgable staff make this place great for espresso lovers. The cappuccinos were also very good. Definitely the best spot we found in Venice for espresso.

Situé non loin du pont du Rialto, cette échoppe permet de consommer sur place(capuccino, macchiato, latte…) et d’acheter du café, des tasses, etc«Caffe del Doge», au design sympa.
