Good place to stay while visiting Venice. It is located on Lido island away from all the tourists in Venice which makes it very nice. We stayed here two nights during an Italy tour. The room are nice, old with wood shatters, it makes you feel like you are truly in Italy. You can hear kids playing in the afternoon. They have a beautiful garner in the from were you can have a drink and relax. The restaurant is not very good, there are better places near by.

***400th review*** Goodness… how the heck can I forget to review this vendor during my Europe trip?! We were able to book this hotel online so we didn’t have to scramble for a place once we arrived in Venice. This 1930s-era hotel along the Venice Lagoon faces San Marco Basin and is 500 meters from Lido Beach and is about a 10 – 15 mins walk to St Mark’s Square. In short, this hotel is legit. The rooms are utterly spacious, it’s got a/c which is so required when staying in Venice during their summer months… and best of all, complimentary continental breakfast with a huge spread… I wished Best Westerns here in the US were just the same!
