Came in for lunch and was advised this is a locals place. We sat outside along the water canal since it was such a beautiful day and started off with yummy bread and the red house wine. For starters I ordered the Fried scampi marinated with red onion, pine nuts and topped on polenta — divine! Next course home made pappardelle with chicken and lastly duck breast with wine sauce & figs. Both entrees were so delicious and fresh tasting. The service here by our waitress was outstanding and this was definitely one of the better meals we enjoyed in Venezia! I just wish I had room for dessert.
