Not sure how would anyone give a good review and why. Order fried salmon as main course at cost of 20 Euro. One thin slice. Literally. I couldn’t believe it. At least salad or grilled vegetables could have been provided. But no I had to order side dish of grilled veggies for another 10 euro. Shrimp scampi are literally 3 small shrimps. Cost 20 Euro. No side order provided. Portion sizes are very small and way overpriced. The waiter was very rude, no greeting not even a thank you when he gave us a bill. I didn’t see any locals in that place. Looks like a tourist trap. Simply go somewhere else

Lovely restaurant. Excellent food. We had the tagliatelle with bolognese, angel hair pasta with tiny pieces of lobster, minestrone soup and sirloin steak. Delicious meals all around, especially the tagliatelle bolognese and the minestrone. Finished with delicious Tiramisu and Italian Ice Cream. Wait staff all friendly and helpful. Helped to hook us up to wifi. Would definitely eat there again.

Beautiful people, beautiful food and service, and beautiful restaurant! A must try for anyone looking for great good and service!

By far the BEST start to our trip in Venice! The restaurant was located right by our hotel (Grand Carlton on the Canal) and just happened to have a table available when we walked by around noon. We were immediately seated outside, and quickly made our food selections which included bruschetta to start, pasta with mushrooms, and a pizza which three of us shared. Everything was so fresh and delicious, and we could tell everything was made from scratch. The pasta wasn’t heavy, but absolutely delcious. The pizza crust was perfection and we could even taste how fresh the cheese was on the pie!
Our servers were incredibly nice and friendly, and spoke perfect English. Definitely check this place out if you’re ever in Venice… you won’t be disappointed!

Almost 3 stars, but in the end I thought 4 was more accurate IF you know what it is.
Had the fried fish — WONDERFUL dish. Good portion and fresh.
Wife had branzino, also VERY well cooked.
Service was a bit slow, it wasn’t cheap (but on the tourist route, shouldn’t expect it to be) but wasn’t unfairly priced either.
Overall good experience and WONDERFUL fish.

Friendly service and fantastic gnocchi entrée! Don’t be fooled by the off-​water location.

The best linguini and clams i’ve ever had in my life. Great spot to sit outside, have a plate of fresh seafood and enjoy the breeze and the plaza.
+++ Linguini and Clams in a cream sauce. Sets the world standard. I’ve never had better. What pasta! What savory goodness! What delight in clammy fresh flavor!
It was so good that I ordered another portion and took some of it home for a midnight snack.
So good that I had to go back the next day for lunch.
And soooo good that I went back later in the week.
+++ Fresh Seafood. Just order the fresh seafood plate. What a great lunch. With a short pitcher of wine and bread, and you’re set for the day!

You can’t beat this wonderful family restaurant for service, great food and wonderful hospitality. Don’t miss this one!

Great food. Family run business. It was near where we were staying in Venice. Get the veal, the risotto, and the duck.

This was, hands down, the best pasta my wife and I have ever had. Came here in the recommendation of our hotel desk clerk. Came in at 7, fairly casual atmosphere and not too crowded. Seemed to have a lot of locals. The staff helped us select what we wanted with no language barrier. I had lasagne and my wife had taglioni with shrimp and cream sauce. Truly excellent.
