My friend found this B&B on for our weekend trip to Verona. It was the most affordable thing we could find within walking distance to the Arena and city center at 260 euros for 2 nights. PROS: Good set up with emailed instructions on how to get the key and let ourselves in. Once there, we had to fill out a paper with what time we wanted breakfast and our choice of beverage. The rooms were very large with high ceilings, large bathroom, plenty of mirrors and closet space. We had our own breakfast room. Walking distance to many of the touristy sights in Verona. Firm bed. Free Wi-Fi. CONS: The guy’s English wasn’t good enough to understand when I told him we ran out of toilet paper. Thank goodness my friend speaks Italian. Verona in August was REALLY hot, so we kept the fan on all night because there was no AC. The shower had no curtain, so it was kind of difficult not to splash water all over the place. Breakfast was basic, but typical for a B&B in Italy. We couldn’t leave our luggage there on the last day after check-out, so we had to carry it around the city until our flight left later that evening.
