Last week (8th of July 2012) we (=my wife, two friends and I) had a fantastic lunch at Ristorante Ponte Pietra in Verona.
The restaurant is situated next to the 2000 years old Ponte Pietra and details of that history you can find in the restaurant that is beautiful renovated.
We were sitting on the terrace/​balcony that has a marvelous view on the river and bridge.
The host, hostess and the other staff were service minded and very friendly and gave us an unforgettable afternoon.
The quality and the presentation of the food and the amuses were all great. Together with the excellent wine suggestions of the beautiful sommelier (=hostess) caused for a toplunch in Verona.
If you visit this restaurant ask for a tour through the restaurant and amaze you about the very special wine cellar.
Ristorante Ponte Pietra is an absolute toprestaurant and I recommend a visit when you are in Verona!
