While taking a short day trip to Verona on our way back from Florence to Milan, we stopped at this place for a lunch break. It was in a cute plaza close to the house of Juliet. Perks: The staff and their customer service was superior. Greeted us warmly, made sure that we had a heat lamp to keep us warm since the wind outside was a bit chilly. The food was all very fresh. We had a salad, the bruschetta, and the Ballerina pizza. While the pizza wasn’t necessarily my favorite, my friend loved it with it’s pears, cinnamon, & gorgonzola cheese. They helped me decide on this delicious drink that is local to the area, but sadly I can’t remember the name of it now. :-/When they brought our check, they also brought us each a limoncello. Downfalls: The toilette in the basement was a little like walking into a scary dungeon. I wasn’t quite sure if I’d make it out alive. Lol. It seemed clean, but just was very dark.
