Nice place to sit outside very close to the river and enjoy a lovely view. We basically landed here because all other restaurants were closed at this time. The food, however, I was really disappointed with. I ordered the gigli integrale al pesto di rucola for 9 €. Price is OK given the location but the pasta was drowning in olive oil and pesto, way too much for my gusto. Service was friendly though, understanding some basic English. Still, if you like fresh pasta, take your money some place else. There are plenty of other and better restaurants in this neighborhood.

**AVERAGEVERONESECUISINE** Restaurant was fairly empty and we were the youngest people there. We were walk-ins. AMBIANCE ========= Old-school Italian trattoria with romantic views of the water. We were seated against the window. FOOD ===== **GNOCCHI —(9,80 euros) Homemade gnocchi with mushroom, black truffle cream, and crispy bacon sounded better than it tasted. The pasta was too firm and the flavors, especially the truffle, did not stick. RATING: 3⁄5 My date ordered the mussels and they were generous with his portion of 11,50 euros. SERVICE ======== The service was weird. Like touristy-fake. Not exactly genuine, but professional. PROTIPS ======== They specialize in meat or fish dishes and their kitchen is open until midnight. On Monday evenings, you can listen to live music. OVERALL ======== With the exception of the view, I would rather dine elsewhere for better food. Good place for special occasions.
