I have been to Al Portego many times (considering it is 5 mins from my house) and generally had good food and good service until tonight. I ordered the scallopino chicken which is usually a delicious creamy chicken dish. However, tonight something was bad in it. I don’t know whether it was the chicken or the cream, but the 2 other people with me tasted the same thing. I sent it back and told them why. When I went to pay the bill, I told them I wasn’t paying for a meal I didn’t eat that was bad. They proceeded to argue with me for over 15 minutes about a rancid 8 € meal. He was very rude about the whole thing. While everything else we had was adequate, the poor service and arguments are not worth my time. I will definitely NOT be going back.
