This place was actually pretty big for a Tokyo Café, I was surprised. It was also very nice and clean with lots of seats available. But, the table to table distance is very close so you may end up getting a bit more intimate with your neighbor than you want :( During lunch, it seems like there is always a set menu with 4 choices. Pasta, Poisson(fish, it won’t kill you), biande(meat), and then the special. The price is about 950 yen per meal with the special being a bit higher priced. I decided to try the Iberian Pork menu with 2 pieces(300 grams! I was pretty hungry :() The lunch started with homemade focaccia bread which ended up being drier than I expected. It also didn’t come with oil or any sauce so it was a bit hard to eat. Next the main dish came and it was a lot more than expected. The pork ended up being really good, but tasted more like ham and was very salty. With rice it’s perfect! The only downside was… the knife provided wasn’t a steak knife but more like a butter knife and it couldn’t cut anything. It was easier to eat the meat whole rather than cutting it into pieces. As a note… though the meal comes with potatoes if you ask they will bring rice as well. This seems to go better with the mean in my opinion. Also, if you pay around 200 yen additional on top of your meal choice you can get a drink as well(like coffee, iced coffee, tea etc.). I would have given this café a 4 but it was about 1400 for the 300 gram pork with no drink and the menu was limited. I think you can get better quality and a better deal on other restaurants in the area. If you’re used to the area, this might be a good choice to try something different but if you’re not from the area I would try something else.(and of course the knife… that was pretty upsetting!!)

You can enjoy Belgium beer. Many kind of bottled beer and some fresh beer with beer bland glasses. Also you can enjoy Belgium food such as fried potatoes and mussels. Alcohol and price is high and little expensive.

We had visited the Akasaka branch and really enjoyed the service there, lovely, friendly staff, excellent food for a decent price and nice atmosphere but sadly the Kasumigaseki branch offers none of the above. We made a reservation for 8 for my husband’s birthday with a food and drink course. The menu was very unfortunate — a heavy focus on seafood/shellfish and the selection of beers we could drink was very small. They had live music that was so noisy we could not enjoy conversations with our group and at the end of the night after we settled our ¥50,000 bill, the staff were so rude insisting we leave immediately. Visit the Akasaka branch, avoid this one.

A Belgian bar in Tokyo! Fantastic beer selection of Belgian brews! Over 40 different selections! Nice variety of Belgian ‘pub fare’. The mussels in white wine were yummy. The ‘frits’ were the real thing! Only downside is the smoking. But if the weather is nice, there are tables outside. They offer free wifi as well!

First of all, yes, this bar allows smoking indoors — but this is Tokyo, and a lot of bars and restaurants allow this still. So be aware! To me, it wasn’t so overpowering that I had to leave, but some people will find it off putting. Still, smoking places aren’t my fave, so I took off a star for that. Second, I enjoyed this place. It’s a nice, casual place to go for a drink — beer or wine — after work. Comfy chairs, attentive waitstaff, and overall cleanliness were high points. It wasn’t overcrowded, which was nice. My friend and I could sit and enjoy a few leisurely drinks without feeling rushed, and the music was at a comfortable level to allow for conversation. Finally, I liked the food. I had a salad with warm(yum!) goat cheese and a basket of their fries. I was not disappointed! The salad was a decent small portion and was evenly dressed, and there was enough goat cheese to go around. The fries came with three sauces — a ketchup, a mayo, and a squid ink which tasted a bit like mayo. The fries were super fresh and super hot! I’ll be back — this place hit the spot!

Very noisy and full of smoking people. Had to wait more than 45 min for our ordered food. Will not come back.
