Always come here for their karaage obento (the fried chicken lunch box)!
It’s just 550yen and the portion is definitely American sized!
This is a popular little hot, fried food store is a mom ‘n pop shop that is always busy during lunch on weekdays.
During lunch, mom ‘n pop and their daughter are always busy in the kitchen frying up pork cutlets, ham, chicken, mince beef and all other fried goodies.
Whenever work gets busy and there’s just no time to go out for lunch, we would quickly stop by here for a bento. They have a bunch of different types of bentos but the popular ones are the A, B, C bentos, the ‘Tanoshimi’ (surprise) bento and my all time favourite, karaage bento.
We are always here for the karaage bento. They are best when it’s just hot off the fryer so I always go just before 12noon and make sure I ask if the fried chicken are just freshly cooked. If not, I would wait for the fresh batch because the hot ones are just super juicy and marinated to perfection!
