The chain coffee shops in the Tokyo all differ by menu, interior design, and of course prices. The café chain attempts to offer more while keeping prices reasonable. Their food and drink menu is more extensive than a couple of the other major chains; specifically, they offer meals with substance and a good rotation throughout the year to offer fresh ingredients. Seating is mostly for non-smokers with the smokers room tucked way in the back behind glass and separate air conditioning. The mix of seating types is weighted towards singles, meaning you’re there to study, chill or work nomad style, without chatting with others. In fact, despite the place being completely full on a Sunday afternoon today, the only voices heard were those of the cashiers. Plenty of power outlets around the perimeter seats front to back. Free wifi limited to Au and Docomo. Strange that Softbank has not also installed their router here. I’ll update this review on WiMAX reception next time… if I can get a seat!
