This is the second time I’ve had soba in the jindaiji area. This place is much better than the last place that I went to. I had hiyashi tororo sanzai soba. The soup was rich and had a subtle sweetness. The soba noodles were fresh and you could see they were prepared by hand. After my soba, I decided to treat myself to an Amazake and Soba Jiruko. The Amazake wasn’t too sweet and tasted homemade, but I can’t promise that it was. But it was certainly fresh and not canned or mass produced. The sobajiruko was interesting. Instead of the usual mochi, they had balls if soba flour. The starchyness of the soba flour paired well again the sweet red bean soup. I will most likely come back.
