This beef cutlet sandwich place has been in business for 70+ years in Japan. I’ve always wanted to come and try it for the past several years and finally had the opportunity to do so very recently. It’s pretty accessible from the station and relatively easy to find. The beef is cooked(deep fried) meticulously to a perfect medium-rare and it’s very tender and moist. The bread is lightly toasted so it’s crispy and goes well with the sour-sweet sauce on the beef cutlet. This is THE only dish they have for you. They have two different portions, half size(1,000JPY) and full size(2,000JPY), and the photo below is half size. If you come for a light lunch, half size will definitely do. Big eaters need full size, but it’s really double in portion, so you should expect twice as many pieces as the photo below. You can eat inside, but also take it away for yourself or someone else. A lot of their customers seem to order on the phone(for to-go) and come pick it up. People eat it on their own or bring it to their friends or even business partners for a small gift.
