Fantastic fried oysters, fried calamari and sashimi. Many items on the menu were sold out the day we went. Even edamame was owari. Still everything we had was excellent and I would not hesitate to go back.

This place is off the beaten pat. literally off an alley from some of the main Ginza drags. It’s no tourist place. We cam in and said we were four but the place was packed with the local workers. So they pointed us upstairs. It’s a small narrow stairway and we’re greeted by an older lady who could not have been taller than say 4.5 feet. She didnt speak a lick of English either so in my poor Japanese that We were recommended by Tatsuya one of the folks at Star Bar. He recommended we get the tori tofu soup and the kaki fry. It was pretty horrific how i got that across. Then one of the guys in suits at another table literally crawled across he room and helped us get across the number of orders. Soon, food came streaming out. Man was that soup good. The broth so rich and flavorful. Chicken is tender and the tofu has good texture and seasoning. The fried oysters were also perfect. Light, crisp crust, and soft tasty oysters. So simple yet so good. At the end of it all it came out to be like 17000 yen per person. Crazy good price performance ratio. I suggest hitting this gem up and getting those two dishes and be warmed from the inside out
