We are visiting from Kiama near Sydney we love our coffee. This place makes best barista style coffee in Tokyo from our experiences over last five days. Lovely atmosphere and service exceptional. Highly recommended

After our meal at Yamazaki in Tsukiji’s Inner Market, we made a stop at Turret Coffee for a pick-me-up since we had gotten up at around 4:30am that day. The shop is very close to the main train station and is very English-friendly. The café itself is pretty small with 2 bar seats and one large seating area in the middle. If there are a more than 8 – 10 people in here, it’s already too crowded to accept anymore To-Stay orders. I had a regular café latte, which sported some of the prettiest latte art I’ve ever seen. The coffee was pretty smooth and I didn’t need sugar at all. The cups are large, and boost their cute little logo.

In an pricey city, at last some coffee worth the time and money. Tucked in a little alley behind some competitors, come here for some actually good coffee. Also, there’s a small but tasty selection of pastries, making this a good stop on your morning route to the metro. Yum! Try the vanilla soy latte or their season latte macchiato for some different flavors. It was mint when we visited!

Amazing coffee, I usually goes to Starbucks which is next door to them. But when we travel we like to find local coffee. No credit so cash is good.

Turret coffee is on first impression unique. Turns out a Turret is the vehicle that transports fish around the market and there’s one in the middle of the café. The coffee is really good, due in part to the extensive water purification system that you can see at the counter. I came with three MELBOURNE coffee snobs and they were all very impressed. Kiosh Kawasaki even does an exceptional soy latte. Great work Turret.

Really cosy café, super friendly staff who both whip up a good cup of latte and are extreme attentive to the customers. The latte is very well balanced, with the right amount of caffeine to pack a punch for the morning. A gem in the Chuo area!

Such a cute and cozy café with an actual turret inside! We came here after a cold morning and amazing breakfast at Tsukiji Market. I had the hot spiced cider(in a mason jar cup), and it was one of the best drinks I have had. It’s a bit thick, with just the right amount of spice, and has to be drunken more slowly. Mmm. The thought of it just warms me up again. My boyfriend liked his latte. There are also a few outlets for your convenience to charge devices while you sip.

The best flat white on planet earth, seriously! Mind blowing. I’ve not had better anywhere. And after an early morning at Tsukiji just what the doctor ordered. The Turret parked inside is also pretty cool!

Everything coffee here starts with triple ristrettos from Streamer Latte Art Blend beans. This makes it a really good value for coffee compared to other coffee places in Tokyo and Starbucks(a few steps away). This is a tiny shop but it’s got a great cosy feel. Kiyoshi San used to work for Streamer and he does a nice mug size cup of coffee. It’s really comfort in a cup. He is really humble and nice, he speaks a little English and he has a great memory. He actually remembered me from my last visit more than a year ago. I arrived right before opening time after the Tsukiji tuna auction. First customer and he had to unlock the door for me although he was inside already and ready. When I walked in, his face lit up and I started to say.“You probably don’t remember me…”. Imagine my surprise when he immediately said«Yes, from Singapore!». I also tried their hot apple cider. Total win for me(just missing shot of rum haha). They steam the apple juice with cinnamon and serve it in a small mason jar mug. Come on, it’s a mason jar, instantly the feel good factor has gone up. Sweet, thick and just the right amount of spice, this tasted great on a cold day. Love the fact that the main seating is on an actual turret. If you’ve been to Tsukiji, you will see tons of these zipping around carrying fish and whatnot. He also has a few random stools at the back and a counter with bar stools and charging points. A small space but he managed 3 little sections in it. I bought a packet of beans to take home at 1500 yen for 250g. He’s got his own bathroom which is really clean and well maintained.

I wasn’t crazy about my latte but the shop itself is cool. They had one of those carts from the Tsukiji market parked inside the tiny shop, so you could use it as a chair if needed. Sort of close to the market to if you want to swing by en route.

The wife and I stopped in at Turret coffee this morning on our way to Tsukiji market, with our decision to go being a photo of one of the prior reviews of a latte that looked like it would meet our criteria for good coffee. Located down a quiet alley, as a prior reviewer mentioned it is literally next door/behind a Starbucks. That does take guts. Overall the lattes were very good. Had a distinct taste but not overwhelming. As usual in Japan, only a few drinks were allowed to be taken away, but f we had stayed we would have gotten the salted Carmel latte which sounded really good. The place was small but had a nice chill vibe to it. All in all a good spot to grab a latte if you’re in the Ginza/Tsukiji area.

Friendly amiable owner, really small but charming place. Not a fancy pour over destination but for a more than decent cappuccino worth trying.
